The space At the Fiddlehead Cabin, what you see is actually what you get! Extremely clean and fresh, this cabin features cream coloured adobe-style walls and solid oak hardwood flooring throughout. Antique furnishings and international accents have been collected from around the world to provide a uniquely tasteful vibe, while hand crafted recycled artworks from Cathy's studio provide just the right touch of whimsy. Enjoy the beautiful, unspoiled vista across the meadow, valley and forest beyond from the open post porch or from the comfort of the dining and living rooms. Both of these rooms boast large, east-facing picture windows that allow in lots of natural light and feature a stunning 180* vista. Guest access Groomed hiking trails are easily accessed right from your front door ... and two pairs of snowshoes are provided. The front porch is perfect for viewing wildlife during the daytime and star-gazing at night. The great grey owl pays frequent visits here and has been known to put on quite a performance for our guests. Upon returning from your invigorating hike through the majestic forest, you can heat up the cedar sauna that lies nestled in the woods right beside the cabin and enjoy a leisurely and therapeutic experience. You will also find a BBQ (with propane supplied) in the screened in porch, always ready for use ... and both inside and out, newly upgraded 4-G wireless high speed internet reception with Netflix streaming capability. Other things to note The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils. Basically, all you need to bring is your own food and drink. If you plan on using the sauna, we suggest that you bring your own towels for this purpose and perhaps some slip-ons. A cedar chest located at the foot of the bed is stocked with extra blankets and pillows … and numerous plush towels are stored in the dresser. There are also numerous board games and puzzles supplied and there’s a Bluetooth compatible speaker for enjoying your favorite playlists.
