Thank you for stopping by our Airbnb page! Martin and I have been hosting guests for several years. We started with our home in NY and then expanded to PR. We love every aspect of traveling and hosting. We do our best to add a bunch of fresh amenities (e.g. extended toiletries, beach toys, cocktail mixers, games, etc.) to make your stay extra special. Please reach out with any questions. Thanks! The space Our condo is in a gated community with 24 hour security and a full staff. Common spaces, which guests can use during their stay, includes a gym, laundromat, kids playroom and best of all private beach access to Luquillo Beach. Plus, we have a parking space available to guests during their stay. The apartment itself is located in the on the 19th floor. It's a large corner studio with floor to ceiling sliding doors installed to take advantage of the amazing view. Truly the ocean is your neighbor. There is a large walk in closet, kitchen, and a spacious balcony. The queen-sized bed fits two comfortably. Plus there is a queen-sized air mattress available for a party of four. We have a smartTV with Roku, so you can watch Netflix or Amazon Prime (ie your own login accounts). We provide the essentials (i.e. sheets, bath towels, soap, toothpaste, etc.), but you'll have to bring any extras. Many guests have left behind extra toiletries such as sunscreen, lotion, bug spray, etc. so feel free to use these items as well. Last but not least is location! Old San Juan to Luquillo it's about +/- 30 minutes (depending on traffic). El Yunque Rain Forest is 10 mins away. Fajardo (i.e. Bio Bay) is 15 mins way. Ceiba, the port town to Culebra and Vieques, is about 20-30 mins away. Guest access Once you book your trip, your name(s) will be added to the security guest list. This is the only way you can access the building. Also, there’s a short form to sign, which I’ll provide after you book. Other things to note Air Conditioner... We are doing our best to keep the electricity cost down and in turn the nightly rate down. To do this, we ask that you please be considerate with the A/C. Please don't have the balcony door open while the A/C is on. Please don't keep the A/C on if you're out of the apartment for several hours. And please don't set the A/C cooler than 67 degrees.
