This bedroom is located in the walk-out basement of the home. The bedroom faces south and gets plenty of sun and has a view of Denali. Room darkening shades black out the "midnight sun". There are two bedrooms in this property if you want to book with another traveler. The two bedrooms are separated by a hallway and an exit. The space This 3,000 sqft natural log home was built almost entirely from the white spruce trees that grew on the property. The original owner cut, hand peeled, and allowed the logs to dry. He then contracted a premier log home builder to hand scribe each log to fit into place in 1990. This log home offers views of the Alaska Range and Denali from your window or from the garden. During dark, clear nights enjoy stargazing and the excitement of the aurora borealis unobstructed by city lights from either inside or outside this well-appointed, Alaskan home. You can choose to stay in one of two rooms: Moose Room or the Garden Room during your stay at my home called A Moose in the Garden. Guest access Guests have the entire first floor that is shared with another guest room. It is perfect for two people or two couples traveling together. During your stay As the owner/host and retired teacher, I am available when needed. I live on the premises and can make helpful suggestions if requested.
