HillTop Farm Cottage

We are offering our cottage on our little homestead located near Crescent Beach on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. This is a working homestead with chickens and cats with two operational greenhouses and a couple of large gardens. We are located about 1.5 hours outside of Halifax and within 30 minutes of historic Lunenburg and charming Mahone Bay. Come and stay with us and experience the beauty and charm of this quaint location and discover the hidden gems in the area. The space This "tiny home" cottage (12x16 feet) is privately set up on our working homestead. The cottage has a bathroom (with shower); a small kitchenette including mini fridge and propane stove. The loft has a double bed accessible by a ladder which could be challenging for people with mobility issues There is a day bed on the main floor that serves as a seating area as well as a sleeping area. The cabin is heated only with a Jotal wood stove, with wood available to use. A great way to explore the option of living in a tiny home. The cottage is located on our homestead in a peaceful setting of pasture and forest. We are 5 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean and have farm animals and gardens. We have greenhouses and gardens and depending on the season, veggies can be made available. A great little getaway to enjoy the peace of nature and have the privacy of your own space. Guest access We have parking available for the cottage in the driveway made for the cottage. We live in front of a lake and have a pond that we have made nature paths to explore. The homestead is a working homestead and you are welcome to explore all areas. Other things to note We offer a great opportunity to experience local dining at its best.
