The space The Cottage is about 40 steps down from the main house where the art studio is located. Guest access The entire lower section of the property is yours to enjoy in privacy. The gardens, the outdoor kitchen area, the views. Other things to note St. John is a mountainous Island and House of Open Arms is located on the peninsula of Fortsberg which has a steep access slope and about 80 steps to the cottage. This is never a problem for the young and the young at heart and the adventurous. The cottage is about 5 minutes to the closest beach and walking distance to Coral Bay. It is always wise to rent a car on St. John no matter where you stay. There is much to miss if you don't.
