I am available for any needs you may have and will help you get the most out of your St. John experience. I provide a romantic welcome dinner on your arrival night. Homemade granola and coffee as well! The Cottage is about 40 steps down from the main house where the art studio is located. A cozy high vaulted ceiling cottage with an incredible outdoor shower area and lovely wrap around porch. Views from every area! This property overlooks Hurricane Hole, East End and Norman Island. The entire lower section of the property is yours to enjoy in privacy. The gardens, the outdoor kitchen area, the views. I live and work in the art studio above the cottage. I am available for all your needs should one arise and my guests are always welcome into my space while your living space is your own. Fortsberg is a very pristine and sparsely settled area. You are among nature with only 2 houses in view and very far away from your living space. There are 6 houses total on the entire peninsula. I meet my guests at the ferry dock and bring them to their car rental, the grocery store and out to the cottage.There is also a bus stop at the end of the road ( about a 7 minute walk). Most people reserve a 4W drive vehicle for there is much to explore on St. John! I have Car Rental companies that offer my guests a 10% discount St. John is a mountainous Island and House of Open Arms is located on the peninsula of Fortsberg which has a steep access slope and about 80 steps to the cottage. This is never a problem for the young and the young at heart and the adventurous. The cottage is about 5 minutes to the closest beach and walking distance to Coral Bay. It is always wise to rent a car on St. John no matter where you stay. There is much to miss if you don't.
