Our place is ideal for romantic couples, honeymooners & sea lovers who like the beauty of nature in a safe environment, right at the waterfront. Long Bay Beach, Antigua's most beautiful snorkeling beach is a only 5-minute walk away. We offer privacy, boat tours, snorkeling, fishing & diving courses. The space This Eco Cottage encompasses a large studio bedroom and well equipped kitchen, a spacious veranda with hammocks, and a large, attached, open air bathroom. The cottage has been designed to take full advantage of the constant and cooling Trade Winds; you never need air conditioning but a powerful fan is available. There are no glass windows: you control the breeze by adjusting the shutters. The bathroom is fitted with a hot water rain shower. Surrounded by a lush tropical garden visited regularly by hummingbirds, the cottage and veranda offer great views of the bay with its abundant marine life. Enjoy the cooling breezes while relaxing in the hammocks and watch fish jump as pelicans fly overhead. Or get a closer view from the lounge chairs on the waterfront, a few steps down from the cottage. Additional features: A large stone BBQ for waterfront grilling (wood provided). Two kayaks reserved for you. Reliable WIFI that reaches from cottage to waterfront. Bath and beach towels, and toiletries in the bathroom. Basic kitchen essentials including seasonings. Snorkeling gear. One lovely outdoor cat who lives around the cottage. She is good company but you can also lock her outside. Our small boat is tied up at the jetty. We use it often, but not every day, and if you like we can take you out on the water for a tour to Green Island, snorkeling, fishing or diving. Guest access Guest have free access to a double kayak including life jackets. The boat is not included in the cottage rental price. Please inquire about tours. Other things to note We own a small boat at the jetty that is available for island picnic trips, fishing , snorkeling & scuba diving including certification. Sometimes we need access to the boat.
