Welcome to Jim Mountain Retreat, a spacious mountain home perched above the Wapiti Valley with sweeping, unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains and valley below. Located just steps from the Jim Mountain Trailhead and about 30 minutes from Cody, Wyoming, this private retreat offers the perfect setting for large families or groups seeking both adventure and relaxation near Yellowstone National Park. The space The upper level of this beautiful log home features a welcoming great room with large windows that frame the stunning landscape. The open-concept living space includes a comfortable living room with television, a full kitchen equipped for group meals, and a dining area perfect for gathering after a day exploring Yellowstone or the surrounding wilderness. Two bedrooms are located on this level, including the primary bedroom suite with a king bed, television, and private bathroom with a walk-in tile shower. The second bedroom also offers a king bed and beautiful mountain. A full hallway bathroom with tub and shower combination and a convenient laundry room complete the upper floor. The lower level provides additional space with three more bedrooms and comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to twelve guests. One bedroom features a king bed, attached bathroom, private coffee station. Another bedroom offers two full beds, while the adjoining bedroom includes a queen bed, twin bed, and attached bathroom. With five bedrooms, four bathrooms, modern amenities, pet friendly space, Jim Mountain Retreat is an ideal basecamp for Yellowstone adventures, hiking, wildlife viewing, and exploring the scenic beauty of the Cody and Wapiti Valley area. *There is approximately 2.5 miles of unpaved road going to the cabin. This mountain road is generally accessible to passenger cars, SUVs, and trucks during dry weather conditions. In periods of wet or inclement weather, the roadway may become hazardous. Under such conditions, access should be attempted only with properly equipped all- wheel or four-wheel drive vehicles. *Please note: this property is dog friendly only cats are not permitted. *Disclaimer: This property does not have AC. At night temperatures drop to the 55 or 60 degrees and low to no humidity, opening windows at night cools the property down and lets in the fresh mountain air! *Seasonal hot tub available mid-May through mid-October Accommodations Primary Bedroom (Upper Level): King Bed Bedroom 2 (Upper Level): King Bed Bedroom 3 (Lower Level): King Bed Bedroom 4 and 5 are connected (Lower Level): 2 Full beds, Queen Bed and Twin Bed Primary ensuite Bath: Walk-in Tile Shower Bathroom 2 Hall Bath: Tub/Shower Combo Bathroom 3 (Lower Level attached to Bedroom 3): Walk-in Tile Shower Winter Spring Travel Notice: Cody offers plenty to enjoy year-round! During winter (December 15 mid-March, weather permitting), access is available only by guided snowcoach or snowmobile tours.
