Historic Vermont Farmhouse on 12+ Acres
Historic Vermont Getaway, 3 mi to Magic
Description
Ideal for two families traveling together, wedding groups, fall weekends, ski trips, or longer Vermont stays, Marie Hill Farm is a historic 1810 farmhouse on 12+ private acres near Chester and Londonderry. With 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, and room for up to 10 guests, it’s a peaceful home base for families and friends. Explore the stream, fields, berries, nearby towns, Magic Mountain, and Lowell Lake, then return for a quiet Vermont night. The space This home is a unique piece of Vermont history set on 12+ private acres. You’ll fall in love with the two turrets, featuring ornate cedar shingle work and a semicircular porch added around 1900. The turrets create four gorgeous bay windows across the front rooms. Original stained glass details remain, and on sunny days cast an array of color inside. Outside, enjoy wide-open space and frequent wildlife sightings, including deer, foxes, wild turkeys, and even the occasional moose. “MARIE HILL FARM” is spelled in natural slate tiles on the gables, a tribute to Marie Hill and the NYC family who owned the home around the turn of the twentieth century. Guest access Guests are welcome to use all of the home and property, only the barn is off limits for your safety.
