Mid Century Modern with HOT TUB!

This one of a kind Mid Century Modern Home Overlooks Ohio's Beautiful Furnace Run Metropark & sits next to the National Park, located directly between Cleveland & Akron -25 minutes to both. We live in home full time (unless renting it to you!). Furnished with mostly original MCM antiques & oddities is sure to be one of the most unforgettable stays! 3 bedrooms + a semi-private loft, accessible by ladder which teens love - sleeps 2 guests. PLEASE READ FULL LISTING DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING. The space We collect MCM antiques & oddities which are displayed throughout the home. We also love all things creative and you'll see guest-friendly activities like adult coloring books, chalk board walls, record player, closets filled with games, interesting books, indoor & outdoor yoga matts, original artwork/photography, swings, many outdoor living areas including a Tiki Lounge, a hidden staircase to your own private ravine, acres to hike in to nearby ponds & large creeks that our kids love to jump in, singing bowls and so many more treasures - sure to make it a one-of-a-kind stay! We are both professional photographers & you'll notice the tucked away backdrops as our home doubles as a photo studio and is rented out to other photographers like Joanne Fabrics for their Christmas ad. We're within about a 10-15 minute drive to Brandywine Ski Resort, Ohio's largest national park, Hinckley Beach & swimming pond, the amazing Michelangelo's winery, historic downtown Peninsula where you can ride the train, the incredible Stan Hall Estate & gardens to tour, and so much more listed in our local guide. Or you can get to Cleveland within 25 minutes for a baseball, basketball or football game, tour the incredible art museums, Rock & Roll Hall of fame, gallery districts, visit Edgwater beach and so much more. When people visit our home/studio they always remark on how peaceful and great the energy feels! Many of our visitors ask us to let them know if we ever want to sell because they say it's their dream space. We couldn't agree more! Guest access You can get in easily with the front door keypad. You'll have access to the entire home except the costume loft, garage, dressers, closets. Other things to note Travel Insurance is required to book this home. IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE: -Closet & dresser space is NOT available as we live in the home, we DO provide suit case racks & there are hangers in the laundry room with a space above the dryer to hang a few items. -We do not throw all of our refridgerator food/ condiments away as we live here, you'll need to provide your own groceries - but if you forget something - you can borrow ours! -We only have access to well water at this time which on occasion can have discoloration & smell after weather changes - we do have a great RO Water system - available for drinking. -The 1960s home is on a slab, and therefore the HVAC systems are attached to the bedrooms. If you’re running the systems - you will hear them (not a problem if you like white noise) -We also have a lovely cat living in the home when it's not rented. We have a strict NO PET / NO PARTY policy. Also, there are cameras at the entrances that notify us when anyone enters/exits the property. *Photos of most interiors updated 1/5/22, although we're always remodeling/ redecorating & will update photos along the way!
