(The gondola closes for a few weeks in fall and spring as the town transitions between summer and winter activities). The unit has a full laundry, which guests are more than welcome to use during their stay, and plenty of storage in the hallway closet. There is also a ski locker just outside the unit dedicated to your use. We are a quick call way if you need us, and while we don't live in town, we visit often between guest stays to ensure everything meets our high standards. We also employ a local manager to oversee cleanings and ensure those standards are met. If anything comes up during your stay, we're able to act quickly with their assistance. Mountain Village is an upscale mountain retreat with an incredible ski resort, and amazing access to hiking and biking in the summer. Fine dining and casual eateries are both just across the street from this condo. In less than 5 minutes, you can walk to the gondola that will take you over the ridge and down into the town of Telluride, or over to the other side of Mountain Village for a quick stop at the grocery store. Once you arrive, you may not use your vehicle again until you're ready to check out. Both Mountain Village and Telluride are walkable towns, and the free gondola is a beautiful way to get from one to the other. The condo comes with two reserved parking spots in the below ground heated garage, so if you do use your car, you won't need to worry about where to park it when you get back for the night.
