Read entire listing for all the great details. The 1st floor of LIMEARITA is the main social area of the home. It holds the kitchen and dining areas, the living area, two bedrooms and a full bath with tub/shower combination. KITCHEN & DINING - Open floorplan - New, modern stainless steel appliances - Coffee/tea station - Granite countertops - Opens to dining room seating guests at a custom-built table by a local artisan and more seats at counter. SWIMMING POOL Pool Dimensions: 9x19 in a kidney shape and 3-5ft deep Pool Heating upon request for an additional fee to cover whole stay. Average is $40/night, but please message us for the exact cost for your dates as it varies by season. As a private pool, there is no lifeguard. Swim at your own risk and do not allow minors in or around the pool unless accompanied by a responsible adult. We have umbrellas in the pool area to create shade. Due to how winds and even storms can seemingly come from nowhere and without notice, umbrellas should be in the "down" position and wrapped when not actively being used or damage will likely result. Absolutely no glass in the pool area! Violations may require shutting down, draining, cleaning pool/lines/equipment, and refilling the pool for safety and at your cost. If there is a grill present, guests who use it are expected to clean it properly after use -- housekeeping does not include the grill. Grill should be covered when it has cooled off and is not in use. We are having upgrades done inside (painting) and to the back yard and pool area over the Spring months. No work will be done while the house is rented/occupied. But some areas may be "in progress" as we have added new decks and furniture (see photos). All areas will remain available to guests and only some final painting and landscaping remains to be completed. LIMEARITA is a 100% non-smoking (or vaping) property - even in the pool area. PARKING Parking is available in the driveway (at least 2 vehicles) and 1-2 directly on the pad in front of the home (all depending on vehicle size). There is absolutely no parking on grass, sidewalk, or streets. Local authorities rigorously enforce it and fines are high. Towing is common, especially during peak seasons. Renting LIMEARITA includes a starter kit of supplies: - 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, - 2 rolls of paper towels, - dishwasher pods and liquid dish detergent, - 2 trash bags per trash can, - hand soap, - hand sanitizer, and - dispensers in each bath containing salon-quality body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. While there is nobody onsite, we are available via AirBNB messages between 9am and 6pm daily. Guests have access to the entire home and property, except for locked-off owner's areas. This includes all 6 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, the backyard, driveway, and the heated swimming pool. We do not impose on your stay with us! You're coming to relax and we won't be messaging, calling, or dropping by -- unless you ask us to!. That is just not our style. After your check-in, we will reach out to be sure all is going well. Other than that, we leave you to your own beach adventures! Visiting Miramar Beach here in South Walton County is like taking a stroll down memory lane; through the quaint Florida beach towns of your childhood. The neighborhood brings back the feel of those classic coastal areas. It features scenic beach roads, surf shops, great restaurants, sandy white beaches, emerald clear water, beachfront homes, and beachside resorts and condos with panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico. But don't let the feel of Miramar Beach fool you. It also has modern amenities and activities that are designed for family fun. Spend the day zipping around on a rented jet ski, parasailing, and endless shopping opportunities at one of the nation's largest designer outlet centers, Silver Sands Premium Outlets. Even Destin Commons shopping area, with its variety of stores and eateries, is only minutes away by car. Limearita is located centrally and just two blocks from the beach. Along the beach on Scenic Highway 98 you will find restaurants that include Pompano Joe's, Kenny D's, Captain Dave's, the Crab Trap and more! Just 2 blocks to US98, it is a great place to get to the large Destin Commons shopping area and to Destin Harbor and it's boardwalk with famous seafood restaurants, bars, shops, marinas, and family activities. Visit Fudpuckers in Destin for their great food, beach drinks, and see the live alligators! Silver Sands Factory Outlet Center is less than 10 minutes away! Panama City Beach is only a 30 minute drive east and the Navarre beach and pier is about 30 minutes west. There are multiple airports in the area. Pensacola is about 90 minutes west and Panama City Beach airport is about 45 minutes to the east. If you are flying, then the Destin/Ft. Walton airport is a smaller airport only about 30 minutes away and is now served by Southwest Airlines, amongst others. Destin is conveniently located close to Interstate 10, a major East-West national highway. This puts the area within easy reach of metro areas such as Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Orlando, Memphis, Nashville, Atlanta, Savannah, Tampa, New Orleans, Birmingham, Shreveport, Houston, St. Louis, and many other cities. — GOLF CART — - Golf cart, if applicable, is street-legal and is supplied by a 3rd-party vendor. - Requires a 3-night minimum stay during stated periods - A contract addendum will need to be signed and valid driver's license provided. - Reminder: only those with a valid drivers license are permitted to drive the cart. We are happy to answer golf cart questions. Message us here on AirBNB! — BOOKING LIMEARITA — - Rates shown are for 16 total guests (of any age - INFANTS and children count). An additional $20 per-person nightly fee will be charged for guests over that. - Primary guest must be 25 years of age, supply a valid government ID, give us with a credit card for the refundable security deposit, sign our rental agreement and any addendums, and be present during the length of the booking. These must all be done by the same person. - We cannot accept 3rd party bookings and they are a violation of AirBNB rules. - We require the name and ages of all members of the party. - A refundable security deposit is required. It is handled by placing a "hold" on the credit card provided at 2 days before scheduled arrival. We are authorized by AirBNB to collect the deposit off-platform and there will be confirmation of that during your booking process. Please message us with any questions. - Be sure to read and understand the cancellation policy for LIMEARITA. - We STRONGLY encourage Travel Insurance if you are concerned a cancellation may be necessary due to personal events, health, work, weather, or other event. - Pool heating is available for a added fee and must be for the duration of the stay. Cost is from $30-$45/night but varies by time of year; please send us a message for exact pricing for your dates. It will be billed through the AirBNB resolution center. - Each stay is covered up to $500 by our no-hassle accidental damage insurance policy at no added cost to the guest. Terms of coverage require that any damage be reported as it occurs and during the stay. Otherwise, you may be personally responsible for the cost of the damage. - Our pricing is updated frequently to reflect local rental trends, our availability, demand, and other factors. Rental rates can rise or fall accordingly until reservation is final. - Check-in time is 4 PM or later and check-out time is 9:30 AM or earlier. Our turnover team is scheduled to arrive at 9:30 AM on departure morning. Failure to depart by check-out time will result in a penalty as stipulated in the renter agreement. We really enjoy hosting and sharing LIMEARITA with others. But, we have a few firm rules that cannot be broken and, if they are, will result in immediate termination of access with no refunds. These are: - No animals under any circumstances. - Events & parties are prohibited by AirBNB and by us. - Do not exceed the number of people on your booking. - Drugs or other illegal activities are not tolerated and will be reported. - No smoking or vaping of any kind on the property. Doing so will incur additional cleaning charges starting at $325. - No commercial photography, video, filming, or recording without express written permission from the owners. Other rules include: - Any fines or penalties from local authorities for guest violations will be passed to the guest either by charging the security deposit, the card on file, or through AirBNB - regardless of how long it takes authorities to issue such fine or penalty. - If any mattresses have been “wet”, loss of full damage deposit will result and guest will be liable for any costs exceeding the deposit. - Don’t sit on furniture when wet or with sunblock on. - If a grill is present, it is not covered by housekeeping or the cleaning fee.
