Glass Porch Cottage on Lake Freeman Canal. A dock is available for Fishing, Mooring Boat, Relaxing. A paddle boat is available to explore the area. Nearby PURDUE University, Indiana Beach, Whyte Horse Winery, Kopaecetic Brewery, Sportsman Inn Restaurant, Oakdale Bar, Prophetstown State Park, Wolf Park, Wabash and Erie Canal Delphi, plus many more. The space The beachy cottage has plenty of room to spread out. Great place for couples retreat or family time together. Included in the cottage is 3 bedrooms, full bath, kitchen with updated stainless steel appliances, and living room and sunroom. The kitchen also offers micowave and crockpot. A gas grill for your convenience is available. The main bedroom has a queen bed. The blue bedroom has a queen bed. Along with the red bedroom offering a trundle bed. Living room has queen sofa bed and game room has double futon for sleepng. There is a full walk out basement with futon and trundle bed for sleeping, TV area, game area, wet bar kitchen, washer/dryer, and lower sunroom. You will find games and cards in the game area along with puzzles for those rainy days. Oh, did I mention this is a double decker sunroom which has a sunroom in the main floor which walks out to a deck overlooking the canal. The second sunroom is in the walkout basement to the canal. Along the canal we have a firepit and gas grill for your relaxation. Both have beautiful views of the canal where you can enjoy watching the ducks, geese, blue heron along with the turtles. There is a front porch to view the lake. Also might catch a fisherman as he brings in a bass. Please note there is a no pet policy. Purdue is a 35 minute drive. Guest access There is plenty of parking in the driveway for vehicles and even a boat trailer. Other things to note Be sure to bring you fishing pole, life jacket, to enjoy the fishing from the pier. Paddle boat is available for a trip around the canal. If you bring your boat, you can tie it up to the dock and enjoy boating and watersports on Lake Freeman. You can see the lake looking out the living room. You can enjoy all of the fun of the lake or the peace and quiet of the canal. Please note there is a No pet policy.
