Waterfront, Meadows: 10 acres+ a Spacious House

Owl Point sits on 10 acres of waterfront with sweeping lawns, lush meadows, oak and pine forest, and the rocky beaches emblematic of the Maine coast. There's plenty of space to wander or lounge around the house and its many porches. The house is large! There are 5 actual bedrooms and several living spaces. A dine-in kitchen with a 48-inch professional Viking Range and dual ovens, a separate dining area, a sitting area and a den/media room. There's also a separate, but included, in-law suite. The space Various porches and many sliding doors provide access to the outside. Watch the bluebirds, martins, and swallows swoop and tend their nests. Cook. Hang out. Read. Listen to records. Play bocce, badminton or other lawn games. Drive to nearby Acadia National Park to hike or bike or call a local company to get kayaks delivered to your door to explore the Salt Pond on your own. The house has four bedrooms (one king sized, two queen sized and one full sized) three bathrooms, a large eat in kitchen and open den/living dining area on the main floor (as well as a mudroom /laundry room). Downstairs there's an addition suite with a bedroom, bathroom kitchenette (rarely used) and living room/play room/overflow sleeping space. The downstairs space has a sunny walkout south-facing patio-- I love to bring my yoga mat down here and look out the big sliding glass doors at the meadow while I do a mini work out. Two of the upstairs bathrooms were just completely renovated this year (I really like them!) and the other two bathrooms are on the list! The house is really big but also very cozy. I've been working on the gardens, and while you won't be able to see them in the winter I'm proud of how the perennial garden is turning out. Our next focus is really improving the kitchen garden. It's a beautiful property with many beautiful natural areas nearby. It is rural. There are animals and insects around. We do have the house and surrounding areas treated for pests quarterly (with natural products or from protected bait stations) but know that this is a natural area with lots of animals and critters about. We have an automatic generator, but please be kind as mother nature is serious out here in Maine and things can happen. Guest access You'll have access to the whole house and the 10 acres of grounds. We keep the garage and one closet in the house locked as well as the utility portion of the basement.
