I can help with dock rental. The space We are excited to offer this adorable house that is set up to comfortably house your party of 7. Open great room makes it ideal for family gathering and eating, and additional table and seating on the screened in porch, make this home a great place to unwind after your daytime activities. If you are familiar with the island, it is on the north end, near the private airstrip. Public beach and bay access (dolphins regularly swim here) is at either end of the airstrip. Pet fees are $150 per pet and will be added after booking if not paid during booking. Guest access This island is only accessible by boat or ferry. Golf carts, bikes and walking are the modes of transportation. You can park at the ferry and take the short ferry ride over to North Captiva. Grocery shopping is needed prior to coming to the island as there is only a small convenience store on the island. You can pick up groceries on your way, or we do have grocery services that will pick up and stock the house with your groceries prior to your arrival for a fee.There are 2 ferries to the island. The North Captiva Island Ferry and the Island Girls Charter. Parking is around $10 per day if you drive a car to the ferry. Our property manager will arrange transport from the dock to the property. There you can use the complimentary golf cart to get around the island. Most guests grab groceries prior to coming to the island, or pay a service to pick and stock groceries in the house. There are a few restaurants on the island: Mainstays, Over the Waterfront, The Boathouse, Mangos and Nick B’s. The golf cart is complimentary and not included in the price of the house rental. Additional golf carts can be rented. I can also help you find a dock rental, if needed. Other things to note Additional carts can be rented through Boats and Fun. The golf cart is complimentary and seats 4. If your party is larger than 4, you will need to rent a second golf cart. If golf cart rules are not adhered to, the golf cart will be confiscated (drivers must be licensed and over 18, no more than 4 people on the golf cart, no driving in puddles and do not abuse the golf cart in any other way). Hot tub on the property is not in operation for guests and is not included in the listing. Golf cart disclaimer- the golf cart is complimentary and not included in the Airbnb price of home. As it is complimentary, in the event the golf cart is not operable for any part of your stay, there will not be a refund. We do our best to keep the golf cart in good working order and fix any mechanical issues as quickly as feasible on the island.
