Sea breezes and sun in historic old town Beaufort!
Bright, cozy, and convenient cottage on a quiet street just a block away from Taylor Creek in the Beaufort historic district, with off-street parking. A short walk from shopping and great bars/restaurants on Front St., or take a stroll to the end of the street for swimming and fishing at the public dock! Very convenient to ferries that will take you to the beaches of Cape Lookout, Shackleford Banks, or Carrot Island. Enjoy the sea breeze on the front porch swing or bask in the sunshine of the spacious fenced back yard. The house boasts an airy, open floor plan with reclaimed pine floors, a freshly renovated (2020) bathroom, well-appointed kitchen, spacious dining and living spaces with a wood-burning stove, and a sunny & quiet office space in the back of the house. Each of the three bedrooms features a queen-sized bed. We'll be readily available for communication via text or phone during your stay. The door front door features a smart lock, so you'll be given a passcode for easy and fast check-in and access upon arrival. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. This is the Beaufort historic district, so nearly all of the houses date from the late 19th and early 20th century. This is one of the only streets in Beaufort with a public dock at the end - perfect for swimming, kayaking, or fishing. Beaufort is the definition of a "walkable town". Park your car for the weekend and enjoy the pedestrian life. So many great places to eat, drink, and shop are just a few steps away.
