Wildwood Rainforest Retreat: Jordan River Cabin

A wonderful slice of West Coast heaven. Enjoy this beautiful log cabin nestled in the rainforest. Great base for hiking, surfing or beachcombing adventures in southern Vancouver Island. Features: Self check in, 2 bedrooms with queen beds. Full kitchen, dining area and bathroom, washer and dryer, Wi-fi, Smart TV and landline. Cozy wood burning stove. Covered deck and charcoal grill. Private yard and plenty of parking. Wildlife viewing opportunities in a private natural setting. The space The cabin was built with all elements of the west-coast in mind. Cosy wood-burning fireplace, complete with wood features, inside and out. The well-appointed kitchen has all the basics you'll need to create yummy food while you are here. We've also included a basic kit of additional toiletries should you be a forgetful packer. Guest access You will have private access to the whole cabin, outside deck and off-street parking. Recent network upgrades provide our guests with reliable WIFI access. WIhe cabin sits on 3 acres. I live in a separate house on the property. Other things to note If you're looking for a great coffee and fresh baked goods, visit the Cold Shoulder Cafe, located a kilometre away in Jordan River. Grab a pizza from Stoked Pizza and take it to the beach, or enjoy a lovely meal at Point No Point all located within 10 minutes drive back towards Sooke. As the nearest grocery store is also in Sooke, be sure to grab your supplies on your way in. We've stocked up on some basics - (salt, pepper, spices, oil, vinegar etc.) to get you started. NOTE: There is no cell coverage in the Jordan River area, however there is a landline for local calls and wi-fi in the cabin.
