Enjoy the spectacular views from our luxury vacation home perched 100 feet above the sea. The space Oceanfront 2 bedroom modern vacation home on the rugged southwest coast of Vancouver Island. Guest access All the cottages have WIFI and Cell Service --- digital maps and GPS may not work. If you have an IPhone, you can put WiFi calling on and while inside the cottages, you may be able to make phone calls. There is a year round gas station, an electric car charging station at the community centre, some good local restaurants and cafes (opened seasonal), the Renfrew Pub (open year round), and a limited selection grocery/liquor store. Other things to note This area is popular for fishing, cycling and hiking. Surfing, paddle boarding and kayaking down the Gordon River is very popular. So many places to go hiking and exploring including the gorgeous Botanical Beach and the old growth of Avatar Grove. Take a 10 minute drive to Fairy and Lizard Lake and enjoy floating on an air mattress or a dip in the lake to cool off in the heat of the summer months. Check out the entrance to the West Coast and Juan deFuca Trails. Take a 5 minute stroll to the new Gateway marina and Bridgemen's Bistro. Other amenities are the Port Renfrew Pub, the Coastal Kitchen (open seasonally) and Tomi's Cafe (great coffee, breakfast and lunch) at the foot of Baird Road.
