Two bedroom, 2 bathroom home, furnished with modern furniture, giant 70 inch TV w/ Dolby 5.1 sound system, and dimmable lighting throughout. Just 3 blocks from downtown Redlands' coffee shops, bars and restaurants. Master bedroom has a very comfortable queen bed with 10 inch thick gel-infused memory foam mattress. The smaller bedroom is a curtained-off den attached to the living room, with a sofa bed and dresser. Please view full description and photos before booking! Guests have access to all of this spacious one bedroom, 2 bathroom unit, including the covered patio in the back. This unit is fully setup for guest use, and you will have full use of all the closets, refrigerator and shelves to store your things - very helpful for long stays. - In addition to the living space itself, there is a separate laundry room on the property with a washer and dryer that guests are welcome to use. - Please park your car on the street and not in the driveway. Street parking is free and always available. You can leave your car parked on the street for as long as you need, as long as its not in the same spot for more than 3 days. If you wish to park in the driveway, that may be possible, but you will need to check with me first. I want my guests to feel at home during their stay. I give them privacy but can interact when they wish! Guests are welcome to send me a message anytime if they have any questions, or if they need help with anything, and I usually respond right away. Downtown Redlands is a short walk (3 blocks away) with multiple coffee shops, restaurants, bars, grocery stores and pharmacy. The Smiley Public library, YMCA and Redlands Bowl are also at a similar distance. Very walkable location overall. - Unless you are just walking up to downtown, the easiest way to get around is by your own car or Uber/Lyft. - Local bus schedules can be found on the Omnitrans website. It can be useful for getting around Redlands or to nearby towns such as Loma Linda. - Metrolink train service towards Los Angeles and Orange County is available from the San Bernardino station, which is about 10 miles away. - Within an hour's drive from Redlands are Big Bear Lake (up in the mountains), Joshua Tree National Park (out East in the desert) and beaches (out West towards Los Angeles and Orange County). I reserve the right to ask my guests for one or more of the following: 1.) A background and credit check after booking 2.) Proper government issued identification 3.) Sign a formal residential lease agreement. I don’t always require these, but need to in some situations - for example, but not limited to, when a guest doesn’t have prior positive reviews. - 70 inch LED TV in the living room has some cable channels available via streaming. NOTE: You will need to sign in to your own accounts for streaming services (such as Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu). - The 52 inch LCD TV in the master bedroom has no cable connection but has a Chromecast device. The only way to use this TV is to stream video to it from your smartphone/tablet, via the Chromecast or your own device. - The living room has a wall AC unit and a gas wall heater. The master bedroom has a wall AC unit that also has a heater mode that can turned on as needed during winter (we usually turn it on to warm up the room before going up bed, but don’t leave it on, as the thermostat sometimes doesn’t work too well). The house has no central heating or air conditioning. - This listing is for a spacious 770 square foot unit that has a large master bedroom, and a large living room with a setback sleeping area, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms (one full, one 3 quarters). - This space is part of a duplex house. It is completely private with its own entrance, but does share a wall with another smaller one-bedroom space usually occupied by medium duration tenants such as traveling professionals. - The street is quiet, leafy, residential. It does not have any apartment complexes; all the properties are single family homes or duplexes. - PET POLICY: No pets. Exceptions: dogs occasionally considered on a case-by-case basis only. If you have a house trained dog who is well behaved and does not chew furniture, etc. and you would like to bring him with you, I may be able to accommodate that depending on some other things - but, please be sure to discuss BEFORE booking. I'm not able to accommodate cats. - Children of all ages are welcome, but you MUST include them in your booking information, so I can inform you about any relevant issues. - Guests without verified ID on Airbnb may respectfully be asked to show photo Id (driver license/passport) at the time of check-in.
