Family friendly home with plenty for every age to enjoy! The renovated 90 year old Historic home on almost 2/3 of an acre has the Paluxy river right in the backyard complete with a huge deck, massive private concrete dock, kids playground and tree swing. Location is AMAZING, on Barnard St., so you're just a couple minute walk from historic downtown, antique shops, famous Big Rock Park, and a 5-6 mile drive to Dinosaur Valley State Park and Fossil Rim! The space If you are looking to get a change of scenery and a place to unwind from the stress THIS IS THE PLACE!!! We have quick 5G WiFi connections and plenty of space to spread out so you are able to carry on with work and school!! This home and property are incredibly relaxing with plenty of fun things to do. Make s'mores around the fire pit. Sit and gaze at the brilliant stars. Meals on the amazing deck overlooking the water. Kids play in the treehouse. Play volleyball, badminton, frisbee, and bean bag toss. Walk down the stone steps leading you straight into the water and swim or fish and then clean up at the outdoor shower! *Please note: periodically, in the Fall, the River is dredged to remove excess dirt and debris. We do our best to inform guests when these situations arise, but the government does not typically notify us in advance.* Guest access Access to the whole home and property including the river. At this time we do not have a fenced area for dogs, so they must be leashed when outdoors. Other things to note Please use caution with young children and inexperienced swimmers, there is easy access to the river. There is additional charge for over 8 guests. Come and support the economy of Glen Rose... Many restaurants are offering take out specials and the local Brookshire's grocery store has online order with drive up pick up. Please use precautions and safety measures when out on the town to keep everyone safe. Big Rock park is just up the street and open to the public (less busy on weekdays), and Dinosaur Valley State park is open with the restrictions of social distancing and no more than 5 people in a group.
