The space This is a one of a kind rental that includes canoe's. Or if you would like you may bring your own boats, kayaks, or Ponton for use on the lake or bring your bigger watercraft like ski boat or jet skis which can be used on the Mississippi via public boat ramps which are only blocks away. Rest assured we have plenty of parking for whatever watercraft you may have. The home its self has been recently updated and has all modern convinces. There is a washer, dryer, water softener, refrigerator, electric range, over the range microwave, garbage disposal, and dishwasher. The master bedroom has one queen bed which is a newer memory foam mattress, an armoire for your clothing, a 42" led smart tv, and an electric fireplace. The second bedroom has a trundle bed (One pull out from under the other) which are both twin size mattresses, a chest of drawers dresser, and a 32" smart tv. The living room has a 50" Smart Tv with soundbar and wireless subwoofer, a newer sleeper sofa with a full size pull out bed, a chaise lounge, an ottoman, custom live edge end tables, and a small office area with some supplies and printer. All the windows throughout have mini blinds and drapes. All bedrooms have combination smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and their are 2 fire extinguishers in the unit. There are 5 security cameras which monitor the Front door, Garage Entry, Deck (For View of Boat Storage, front parking and the basement entry door. None of these cameras are pointed to any space renters may be using inside. We take everyone's privacy very seriously and camera recordings are only viewed when absolutely necessary. PLEASE READ ****We like to make everyone well aware that this home is located close to active train tracks. The tracks are located on the other side of the lake. There will be noise throughout your stay from the trains. Most people are not bothered by this however some are**** We also recommend that you drink bottled water as most people do not find the city of East Dubuque to have very good tasting tap water. There is great fishing on the lake. You can choose to fish from shore or from our boats or dock. We know you will love your stay here and hope to host you soon. Other things to note ***IMPORTANT INFORMATION*** All guest should note that there are no life guards on duty and nothing in this listing should imply any liability to us in regards to safety for use of any of our boats or property in or around Lake Lacoma. All guests enter the lake at their own risk and understand that accidents happened and we can not be held accountable for any injuries up to and including death. Guests should also be aware the flooding is possible mostly during the spring and that access to road leading down to the house may not be accessible. We will make every effort to notify any bookings if flooding is forecasted. We will allow rentals to cancel if the road is not accessible by vehicle but the place is always accessible by short paddle boat even during flooding. *** Also one more time we would like to make abundantly clear that there are also active train tracks nearby that have trains pass by hourly. Most people don't find this to be bothersome but some do ***
