Elisha's Place - Close to I-94
Minutes from I-94, ND Country Fest, Morton County Fairgrounds. 30 minutes west of Bismarck, 20 minutes from Mandan. And 50 years back to a nostalgic, quiet America; except during the week of Independence Day, when the whole town is alive in celebration. And we sure can be a noisy bunch then! Originally built as a four-room motel, Elisha's Place was later converted into a two-bedroom, two bath guest accommodation. While visiting, you will enjoy a full eat-in kitchen with stove, refrigerator, toaster, microwave, tea kettle and coffee maker. There is a washer and dryer for your use in the north bedroom and the couch is a hide-a-bed. We also keep a Pack-N-Play on hand should you need it for your little one. While staying with us you will have access to the entire place. If your children need to burn off some energy, they're welcome to do so in the backyard between Elisha's Place and the garage. The deck between Elisha's Place and the main house is smaller, but you are welcome to join us if we're out there visiting and use it when we're not around. We usually have portable chairs there, unless the forecast is for rain. Sorry, for now the grill is strictly for Blaise's use. Free Wi-Fi access. Smart TV with a DVD player is in the living room. You are free to park on the street in front of Elisha's Place or in our driveway off the alley. This property has two houses connected by a deck off the back of Elisha's Place. We do live on the property and will (likely) be available throughout your stay if you have any questions. We are conveniently located just minutes from I-94. We have a home-town grocer and pharmacy close by. You'll drive by the Sunset Inn on your way to our place, and if you venture further south, some blocks away you'll find Farmers Lumber and Gambles downtown. For summer fun an outdoor pool and walking path are nearly a hop, skip and a jump away. Though relative newcomers to the area, we're quite sure that we've moved back in time some fifty years rather the distance one travels to find us. We offer simple hospitality, ever practicing what is not our natural gifting. Our children work with us to improve and keep this place. If you notice something that we have missed, please let us know that we can address it. We have begun some updating to Elisha's Place. This will be an ongoing process and ask for your patience where we have not yet tended to.
