The space Welcome to your Blue Ridge getaway—peaceful, private, and perfectly positioned for exploring Nelson County while still feeling “away from it all.” Location-wise, you’re close to everything without being in the middle of anything: only 3/4 mile from U.S. 29, with easy access to the area’s best festivals, breweries, hikes, and historic attractions. Infinity Downs and Oak Ridge Estate are about 6 miles away (Lockn’, Festy, and other events), and Charlottesville is an easy drive for UVA events, concerts, Monticello, restaurants, and history. If craft beverages are your thing, you’re in the right place. Bold Rock, Devil’s Backbone, Wild Wolf, and Blue Mountain Brewery are typically 15–30 minutes away. Virginia Distillery (award-winning whisky) and Wood Ridge Brewery are only about 3 minutes away—close enough for convenience, far enough that you won’t hear a thing back at the house. The home itself sits on a dead-end, state-maintained road, which means minimal traffic, tons of quiet, and a real sense of seclusion—while still keeping you near groceries, attractions, and day trips. Fire up the grill, stretch out with a book, listen to the sounds of the country, and enjoy the kind of quiet you just don’t get in town. Guest access Guests have access to the main floor (two steps to front door with deck and stairs in back) with three bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The garage is available with advance request and an additional fee. Other things to note The house is accessible through remote locks. Before arrival, guests receive an access code that is reset for each guest. Gas fire pit located on the deck. There is a stream just down the hill from the house, which is a nice, quiet stroll, or you can walk along the road in front of the house (1 mile round trip). The interior of the house has been remodeled with fresh paint and new hardwood floors throughout. Can accommodate seating for up to 14 for dining events. New oven/microwave unit, washer, and dryer. Multiple coffee options: Keurig (with pods provided), grind-and-brew coffeemaker, or press pot. With the basement rental, the house can accommodate comfortable sleeping for up to 8 (see Three Springs Plus listing).
