Located in the downtown of Luray within walking distance of the Hawskbill Brewery and many other attractions is this quaint home. Interesting fact when doing the remodeling I had the "lets see where this takes us attitude" as perfection was not what I was seeking but instead, charm and movability. Upon entering through the side porch yellow door you enter a large open space featuring a mosaic tile back splash, wood countertops and a tongue and groove wood ceiling. The large island is great for virtual working or virtual learning as well as its intended use of meal prep. There are 2 bar stools and electrical plugs on both sides of the island. A previous optional entry door to the porch has been converted to a pantry for your grocery storage. The kitchen is adequate for preparing meals and I provide the basic dishes and cooking utensils and small appliances such as a toaster, microwave and mixer. The coffee maker is a kuerig and we provide some pods and condiments. The dish washer will be you, so please be sure and wash up what you use and return to where you found it. The adjoining dining area has seating for 4. The nearby living area also has seating for 4 comfortably and there is a smart tv ready for internet watching. I have a Netflix account available for house guests. You will see wi-fi password in the kitchen on one of the shelves above the sink. Behind the antique doors are the stackable washer and dryer and the iron and ironing board. The office closet is locked and not available for guest use. Around the corner in the hallway is a dresser which contains bathroom linens and in the bathroom you will find wall mounted dispenser with body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Myers hand soap and a hair dryer is available as well. ' Up the stairs to the 2 bedrooms the first room is just big enough for a double bed and 2 small tables but is ample room for a great nights sleep. It features a new mattress bought a few months ago and an antique reading light above the bed. You will find 2 luggage racks in the closet for your roller board suitcases and the barn door on the entrance was found in the barn we own at another property. The additional bedroom has a queen bed (again a new mattress bought a few months ago)and a desk and chair. There are storage cabinets in the closet which is a great place to put your roller boards on top of. residential Property is across the street from a historical cemetery walking distance to attractions, shopping and restaurants and brewery and museums siren from fire department nearby sounds everyday at noon and for emergencies to alert volunteer. it does sound like an air horn.
