Just 20 minutes from downtown, our sunny daylight basement has been remodeled for you! Enter through your own door with a key-pad lock. A hot tub and gazebo are right outside the door: patio furniture, a gas fire pit, and a BBQ grill ready to be enjoyed. The interior space is bright and sparkling clean! The kitchen opens into the family room with a smart TV. Just around the corner are two bed rooms and a newly remodeled bathroom. Now offering outdoor pool and electric bike rentals! We have put a lot of thought and care into this space to make it a special get-away for you! Our new granite-and-tile kitchen has a deep sink, fridge, microwave, toaster oven, and a single burner for you to use, as well as basics like pots and pans, oil, butter, spices and salt and pepper. We have also included a Keurig coffee maker and our favorite teas/hot cocoa for you to enjoy (with cream and sugar). The sleeping area is well stocked with new bedding and furniture! In the picture you can see the king bed and full sized pull-out sofa bed (these two sleep 4 total). Just down the hall there is another bedroom with a twin-over-full bunk bed (sleeps 2 to 3). In addition, we have a twin sized pull out mattress for the floor and a Pack n Play for a baby or toddler. We are happy to provide sheets, blankets and a pillow for the family room couch for one more place to sleep. This means we can sleep 8 adults and 1 baby/toddler. Please let us know in advance if you will be needing a mattress for the floor, the couch, or the Pack n Play. The over sized master bedroom includes a desk, office chair, and lamp for remote work. Our family room is well stocked with games (Settlers of Catan, Ticket To Ride, Throw Throw Burrito, etc.), puzzles, and books for down-time. There is a new 7-person hot tub available for guests. A waiver must be signed by every adult, and by a parent/guardian of every minor before the hot tub can be used. There is an open (no fence) pool on the property that can be available for all or part of your stay for an additional $50/hour (up to 2 hours) or $200 for the day, depending on availability. The pool is available between Memorial Day and Labor Day. **NEW** We are now offering 2 ELECTRIC BIKES for rental! If you have not tried E bikes, you will be thrilled at this exhilarating way of enjoying nature. We are surrounded by an abundance of natural beauty and plenty of places to ride bikes and get out for some fresh air. On E bikes you can travel much further than on regular bikes, still getting plenty of exercise but without feeling exhausted. You will be refreshed and invigorated. Dave and I loooooove our E bikes and invested in them to enhance your enjoyment of the beautiful Spokane area. $25/hour per bike, up to 2 hours. Absolutely NO tobacco inside the apartment and no marijuana anywhere on the property. There will be a $200 fee for non compliance and your reservation will be cancelled. Thank you for your cooperation here. The whole basement is yours with the exception of one closet and a furnace room that will be locked. You will be the only people in the basement apartment during your stay. We are here on the property if you need anything--please do not hesitate to reach out. Your comfort and relaxation are our top priority! However, if you want to pretend we don't exist, that is fine too! We live upstairs and you will hear us from time to time as we go about our daily life, but will stay as quiet as possible. We have recently added covers on our vents and white noise machines to both bedrooms to help you enjoy a quiet night’s rest. We are nestled in a quaint suburban neighborhood with well maintained homes and yards. We are 2.5 miles from Whitworth University, and 8 miles from Gonzaga University and within 8 miles of various Greenbluff wedding venues. Nearby you will find a host of restaurants, pubs and coffee shops (including the new north Spokane Costco) and movie theaters. Additionally, we are 20 minutes from Spokane's beautiful Riverfront Park, and the Spokane Valley, and 24 miles from Mt Spokane State Park. There are 5 major ski resorts within 2 hours! Also plenty of nearby hiking, lakes, and bike trails. Check out our brand new electric bikes! We have a parking pad just outside our gate for your vehicle. The nearest city bus stop is about 1 mile away. We are 1 mile from North Spokane's beautiful Children of The Sun biking and walking trail (miles of paved paths for walking, jogging, or our electric bikes). Another biking/walking option is The Centennial Trail, about 20 minutes away, which goes all the way into Idaho. We carefully clean the entire apartment after every guest; the space is beautiful and sanitary. We open all the windows between guests to get fresh air flowing through and we sanitize everything and wipe all surfaces. We also sterilize all bedding and towels.
