An adorable cabin to stay in while you ski at the newly re-born Tenney Mountain Ski Area, or spend the weekend snowmobiling through the many miles of trails which are accessible just across the street. Hiking and lake fun at nearby Newfound Lake; or just relax to the babbling brook off the covered back deck. Built by Tenney Mountain co-founder John French and used for many years as housing for ski patrol, a lot of good times have been had here. The space The cabin is very unique in that it was custom built and was positioned in the perfect orientation to take advantage of the beautiful Tenney Brook in the backyard. The cabin is currently the only house on the road with only one log cabin visible on the road beneath and the peek a boo views through the woods of the tubing hill, Tenney base lodge, and a few street lights from across the brook. The cabin is a good balance of rustic with some modern amenities, the upstairs feels a bit like a treehouse which kids love. Heat is provided by mini split units on both floors, forced hot water and an optional use of the cozy wood stove fireplace insert. ***Pets are generally welcome but please inform us if you plan to bring a pet in your initial inquiry. We do have to charge a pet fee currently $50 per pet that we pass along to the cleaning crew. PLEASE NO CATS (due to allergies)*** Guest access The 3 queen beds will accommodate 6 adults. The bunk beds are designed for children but lower bunk will accommodate 1 adult. The sectional sofa in LR could sleep 1 additional adult for an extra charge. Absolutely 8 adults Maximum Allowed! (Extra charges for more than 6 Adults). The only area the guests can't access is the basement area of the cabin & the hot tub. Other things to note **By booking a stay with us you agree to abide by all State of New Hampshire Travelers Guidance, specifically those in regards to Lodging at found on the covidguidance nh gov website. You agree to sign a form upon check in that states you and all in your party agree and abide to such State of NH guidance.** If you are coming to stay in the winter please make sure you check out what is going on with the ski mountain at skitenney website for up to the minute updates be sure to check their FB searching skiTENNEY I often ski back to the house straight from the top of the mountain but you will have to walk or drive a short way up to get started for the day. Pets are welcome but we do charge an additional $45 cleaning fee for the first pet, this is per stay not per night. If you have additional pets please message me and we can discuss it.
