We are located in a secluded area where you can enjoy nature and relax on the front deck with a cup of coffee and a country view. We have created this place the way we would like to have it for ourselves, so you can have the best experience possible. There is plenty to do in Holmes County, including local shopping, excellent restaurants or just drive the country roads and enjoy the view. Also Harvest Ridge Expo & Event Center is only a 10 minute drive. The home is just under 2000 SQ FT of indoor space. The living room area is 24 ft x 24 ft. There's a large dining table that seats 6. (extra seating available) Outside you will find a patio with a grill and a fire pit with free wood in the backyard. The front has a covered deck and a covered porch with plenty of seating. There are steps that may be an issue with toddlers and babies, but that's up to you. You're still welcome to bring them. You have the house to yourself. There is a detached garage that is locked and not for use. The bottom house garage is also not available at this time. We live just across the woods so we are available if you should need anything The house is in a secluded area. There is 1 house behind the property the can be seen through the trees. The property is private. Winters can get interesting if there is ice to get up the driveway. We do our best the make this accessible but if you have 4x4 then that's your best option. Otherwise getting around isn't a problem and you can enjoy the beautiful wooded area. We do not allow smoking indoors, pets or loud parties. If we find damage from any of these, you will be charged. We are not interested in any of these and do not welcome them. Wi-Fi can be a problem in our rural area. Sometimes it’s good then next it’s not. Check-in times can be flexible if we do not have another checkout the same day or a check in that evening. This property has steps to the entrance but once inside, you have everything on the main floor except 1 step into the living area. To make your stay easier for you, we will also purchase some groceries for you to get started if you’d like. Things like milk, cereal, local baked goods, fruit, bottled water, soda or whatever you want. We will leave the receipt for you at the house to reimburse us. You must request this in advance.
