The cozy home is only 8 blocks from Historic Main Street. Is easily accessible to the high lights of St. Charles. Main Street has fantastic night life as well as great food. It is cheap to Uber back and forth from a very busy area of St. Charles. The Ameristar Casino is 1.5 miles from the residence. Hollywood Amphitheater/Casino is also 4.2 miles away. There are always activities to be found in the surrounding areas as well. This home has been in same family since was built new in 1953. The home has New living room furniture Consisting of Sofa and 3 Chairs and also has many areas freshly painted. The kitchen is updated with all new appliances, new countertop, and Floor.... the bathroom also has been updated with a new floor. You will find the kitchen appointed with anything you might need to prepare meals if you should wish. Help yourself to anything in there. Kitchen is stocked with the basics including plates, glasses, utensils, coffee, coffee maker, toaster and utensils . The Bathroom has towels, wash clothes, shampoo, and body soap. There are 3 TVs in the home as well as internet access. Guests have access to entire home including washer and dryer that is located in the basement. I do not live close, but guests will have my phone number and may call or text with any questions they may have at any time. I am an Elementary Principal and live in Arkansas. I go to St. Charles quite often and I did not want to rent the house permanently due to I enjoy it myself. As time goes by there will be several upgrades. The first stage has just been finished and that is some new paint to spruce it up and New living room furniture, and the Kitchen was updated with all new appliances as well as new floor. The bathroom has also been updated with new flooring. My Housekeeper is next door so I can respond quickly if something comes up. The house is located in the heart of Historic Main Street area. Home is located 8 blocks from The Brick Main Street. There are always activities down there as well as a Park and Katy Trail. It is very close to HWY 70 for easy access. Distance to other attractions: Ameristar Casino 1.5 miles, Hollywood Casino 4.2 miles, Hollywood Amphitheater 4.2 miles, Bass Pro 1 mile, Lindenwood College 1 mile, St Louis International Airport 7.7 miles, St. Louis Zoo 20.8 miles, St; Louis Art Museum 20.8 miles, Six Flags 33.8 miles St. Louis City Museum 22.1 miles , And St. Louis Arch 23 miles. Easy access to Hwy 70. If going out on the town Uber is the way to go. Home located in Active area of town and near St. Charles attractions. You have many food establishments very close to choose from. You can park in front of the house or in the driveway. I recommend parking in the street in front of the house. I find it most convenient there to get luggage in and out. Be careful backing out of the driveway....there is always a car parked on the street opposite side.. when I back up I always make sure to be aware of that so I don’t back into it.
