Updated 1940s cabin in Stanley proper. All new finishes and appliances. Open Loft upstairs, sleeps 4 (queen bed and twin trundle). Living room, kitchen and bathroom downstairs. Meadow Creek runs right through the property and continues into Valley Creek, a tributary of the Salmon River. Great fishing at the Nature Preserve just a block to the north. Walk or ride your bike to town. Incredible views of the Sawtooth Mountains. Quiet area on the outskirts of town. This 2 story cabin is famous! Saved from demo and relocated from the North Fork Store property (north of Ketchum) featured in Marilyn Monroe's movie, Bus Stop, set in Sun Valley. There is no bath tub, only a shower. We kept the original staircase, which are slightly steep, so please consider this prior to booking. We provide linens, towels, extra blankets and sheets, an A/C unit, and everything you may need in the kitchen to cook. This is a remote area so please only use what you need. It takes some coordination and effort to restock supplies and do laundry. Please do not bring unaccounted for guests. This includes folks camping the driveway. This a small cabin. We love how cozy it is and we think you will too but it’s limited in space. Things happen so if you break something, please let us know so we can get it replaced. The entire 650 square foot cabin will be available for guests. The outdoor area, partially fenced in with a log worm fence is available. Please keep an eye on small children around the creek. Just a phone call away if you need anything at all. If you need anything or feel that we could improve, please just let us know. We strive for a 5 star experience for our guests. Views! Views! Views! Creek runs through property. We have a lovely relationship with our neighbors. Help us keep it that way. Walk or ride your bike to the bar, restaurants or shops in minutes. Fish out the back door. Redfish Lake is 15 minutes away, several hot springs in the area and wonderful extensive hiking opportunities for the active. A few rules: We are happy to share our home with you but please be respectful. We frequently use our cabin as well. Kindly remove your shoes upon entering. We do have a strict NO Pet and NO Smoking policy. Two vehicles max and no RVs or trailers. Please do not drive in the yard. We do not allow fires. Please turn off exterior porch lighting at night. This area is in a Dark Sky Reserve (check out the stars!!) and the city ordinances require it. We reserve the right to terminate your rental mid-stay if our rules are violated. Fines may apply.
