Updated 1940s cabin in Stanley proper, perfectly located for exploring the Sawtooths. Open upstairs loft sleeps up to 4 (queen bed with new 2023 mattress + twin trundle; snug for 4 adults). Living room, kitchen, and bathroom downstairs. Meadow Creek runs through the property and flows into nearby Valley Creek. Walk or bike to town, fish at the Nature Preserve one block north, and enjoy mountain views from this quiet edge-of-town setting. The space This thoughtfully renovated 650 sq. ft. historic cabin blends original character with modern updates. The layout includes: Open loft sleeping area upstairs Living room, kitchen, and bathroom downstairs The cabin sits along Meadow Creek, creating a peaceful, nature-filled setting while still being close to town. The neighborhood is quiet and lightly traveled—ideal for guests looking to relax while staying connected to everything Stanley has to offer. The cabin is located along Highway 21. While the setting is peaceful, some road noise is audible at times, especially during daytime hours. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cabin and the outdoor area, which is partially fenced with a traditional log worm fence. Meadow Creek runs through the property, so please closely supervise small children near the water. Other things to note We’re happy to share our home with you and appreciate guests who treat it with care—we use the cabin ourselves as well. A few important notes: ~Please remove shoes upon entry ~No pets and no smoking ~Maximum of two vehicles (no RVs or trailers) ~Please do not drive or park on the yard ~No fires permitted ~Please turn off exterior porch lights at night—Stanley is part of a Dark Sky Reserve, and the stars are incredible If this sounds like a good fit, we’d love to host you and share our favorite corner of Stanley. 🙂 Wildfires and smoke are a seasonal reality in the western states, typically July–September. Cancellations due to smoke follow our standard cancellation policy. If an active wildfire directly affects access to the cabin or makes the stay untenable, we’re open to discussing accommodations or refunds on a case-by-case basis.
