Welcome to Heron’s Rest, your lakefront escape on beautiful Chautauqua Lake. Wake up to water views from every bedroom, enjoy morning coffee on the covered lakefront patio, spend the afternoon kayaking, and end the day relaxing by the water. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac just one mile from Bemus Point, Heron’s Rest offers a peaceful waterfront getaway close to restaurants, shops, golf and more. Our home sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms. The space This is a true lakefront home with direct access to Chautauqua Lake, a private seasonal dock and plenty of outdoor space. First floor • King bedroom with lake view & Smart TV • Queen bedroom with lake view • Full bathroom Second floor • Bedroom with two twin beds • Bedroom with full-size bed • Half bathroom Every bedroom has a lake view. The open living and dining area overlooks the lake, and the fully equipped kitchen provides plenty of room for meals together. Our dock can accommodate multiple watercraft, with space on the property for a trailer. The dock is typically available mid-May through mid-October, weather and lake conditions permitting. Heron’s Rest is about one mile from downtown Bemus Point, making it easy to enjoy restaurants, shopping, golf and everything this charming lake town has to offer. Nearby attractions include Long Point State Park, Chautauqua Institution, Southern Tier Brewing, Panama Rocks and Peek’n Peak Resort. A few things to know: Chautauqua Lake is a natural environment. Guests may see geese, ducks, bald eagles, blue herons and other wildlife, and water conditions vary with weather and season. Bridge construction near Bemus Point may occasionally be visible or audible, although our I-86 Bemus Point exit remains accessible. Come spend a few days right on Chautauqua Lake — paddle in the morning, explore Bemus Point in the afternoon and relax by the water at the end of the day. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home, yard, lakefront and private seasonal dock. One vehicle may be parked in the garage. The only areas not available to guests are the owner’s closet in the garage and owner’s refrigerator in the laundry room. Other things to note A few things to know: Chautauqua Lake is a natural environment. Guests may see geese, ducks, bald eagles, blue herons and other wildlife, and water conditions vary with weather and season. Bridge construction near Bemus Point may occasionally be visible or audible, although our I-86 Bemus Point exit remains accessible. Often the bridge is closed between 3 am and 6 am.
