Just steps away from the captivating beauty of The Shawnee National Forest, Rocky Ridge offers unmatched tranquility and relaxation. Surrounded by 40 acres of private land and joins approximately 800 acres of The Shawnee National Forest. After a day of recreation, relax on the front porch, watching the wildlife or gazing at the stars that come out overhead as you warm up by the firepit. Excellent location to see some of the wildlife and visit some of the local's favorite trails and attractions. The space The cabin offers 1 queen and 2 twin size bed, accessible by ladder, and 1 sofa bed that folds out to a queen size on the main floor. All beds have fresh linens and blankets. Kitchen /Dining room The kitchen is stocked with fridge, electric stove, oven, microwave, crockpot, coffee pot, pots and pans, utensils, and dinnerware. We also have a charcoal grill (charcoal is not provided) and a fire pit for outdoor cooking. Dining room has a table and 4 chairs. If the weather is permitting, enjoy the picnic table outside. Livingroom The Livingroom has two reclining chairs and a couch that converts to a sofa bed. On the wall is a 48 inch flat screen Roku TV. Bathroom Bathroom has a shower and fresh towels and a few extra rolls of toliet paper. Outdoors The front porch has 4 chairs and is a great spot to sip your morning coffee. Deer, turkey, and other critters can be seen walking the property. There is a fire pit and charcoal grill (charcoal is not provided) located beside the cabin along with a picnic table for afternoon cookouts. Guest access Guest has full access to cabin and the 40 private acres that surrounds the cabin with access to the Shawnee National Forest. Please contact before booking if wanting access to hunt the Shawnee National Forest. The nightly rates listed is not for hunting access. Other things to note Dogs are allowed only if well behaved and housebroken. Crated if left alone. $75 pet fee during stay (Approval needed for more than 1 dog) We require fee to be paid before arrival.
