Private Abodu Guesthouse in Downtown San Jose
Our newly constructed Abodu guesthouse is the perfect spot for a solo traveler or a couple to stay in downtown San Jose. The Abodu has everything you need to feel at home. Enjoy our backyard or the great indoors at the end of your day. We offer really fast Wi-Fi, an easy to use coffee machine, and high quality linens for our guests' comfort. Our full kitchen includes high end appliances and everything you need to prepare your own meals. The guesthouse is located in our backyard. The backyard and entrance are shared with two other Airbnb listings, as well as our family. You will more than likely see our dogs, kids, us, and other guests. *No parties or gatherings allowed.* Photoshoots are not allowed without prior approval (please contact me first before booking). We have an outdoor seating area next to the Abodu for guests to enjoy, and guests can also use our outdoor dining table. Quiet hours are 10pm-8am. You are welcome to enjoy the backyard next to the guesthouse. The guesthouse is located about 25 feet behind my home. You might run into me, my kids, dogs, or other Airbnb guests on the property. The two other Airbnb listings are visible from the front door of the Abodu. *No parties or gatherings are allowed.* Photoshoots are not allowed without prior approval (please contact me first before booking). Because of the close proximity to our home and other guests, we do not allow visitors or gatherings on our property. Please contact Flora if you have any questions. Things you *might* hear during your stay: loud trains, sirens, fireworks, loud neighbors, helicopters, etc. We live with these sounds every day, but I like to tell my guests this to set expectations. We are in downtown San Jose, and these sounds are a part of city life. Located between downtown San Jose and Japantown, the Abodu is a short walk from many points of interest, restaurants, and entertainment. This historic neighborhood can be explored by bike, scooter, and on foot. Light Rail, bus lines, Uber, Lyft, and scooters are great ways to get around downtown San Jose. *No parties or gatherings allowed. Violators will be asked to leave. Any suspicious activity will be reported to the police.* Please keep the windows closed if you have the heater/AC on. Ask if you need help with the sliding door or screen; these can be tricky to use and if they get stuck, can be severely damaged. Parking can be limited. If you're here on a Monday or Tuesday, please observe street parking signs to avoid a parking ticket.
