Spacious, charming, fully equipped family friendly home in the heart of New London's beach community. The apartment is quiet, private, attractive and comfortable. Private beach, wide open views of Long Island Sound and on site parking. Your carriage house apartment has a private entrance and is located on the second floor above our detached two car garage. Relax, get comfortable and enjoy your stay! The space Our Carriage House apartment has been fully renovated for your enjoyment whether you spend just a few nights or have an extended stay! The kitchen is fully equipped with a full size oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator with an ice maker and garbage disposal. We have serving sets for six with our dishes, flatware, glasses and stemware. The sheets, towels and quilts are all 100% cotton, the comforters are 100% down and the pillows are a down and feather mix. The kitchen table is set for four with two additional chairs in the apartment to easily set for six. The island has three stools with cushions for a morning breakfast. The main living space is furnished with a La-Z-Boy queen size sofa with an Air Dream mattress, a cushion chair and a long table, chair and lamp for your convenience or business needs. Dish Network, Wi-Fi and a DVD player are all provided. We have two ceiling fans, one in the main living space and one in the bedroom, along with six windows for an ocean breeze in the summer. For your convenience we have a full size washer and dryer along with a laundry basket and detergent on the first floor of the apartment. The washer and dryer are located in a small room along with some of our personal storage. Your apartment has its own private entrance and is located above our detached two car garage. Relax, get comfortable and enjoy your stay! Guest access We have a keypad on the outside foyer door to your apartment and an additional keypad on your second floor entry to the apartment. We will provide you with your personal pin code in an email upon confirmation of your booking. You are our guests at our 13 family private beach across the street and our beach box full of sand chairs, cup holders and sand toys is open for your use. We have an outdoor shower that you are welcome to use equipped with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. This is a bathing suit on shower as it is open at the top. You are welcome to enjoy our backyard but personally I would choose to walk across our front yard to the beach for a great stroll anytime of year.
