The James River Cabin is a secluded cabin nestled among the trees on 95 acres of river front property. It is just 10 short miles from Springfield, Missouri and less than an hour from Branson, Missouri. On-site activities are numerous and include bicycling, trail hiking, utv trail riding, kayaking, fishing, hot tubbing, and swimming in your own personal paradise. The rental price does NOT include UTV use. The river access is a short but fun two minute utv drive from the cabin. This uniquely rustic, modern, yet child-friendly cabin provides a fully stocked kitchen (stainless steel Pots and pans!!) with keurig and regular coffee pot and lots of spices and pantry items. Sleeping accommodations for 6 adults (max) and two children, a wood burning fireplace, outdoor fire pit and string lights, Propane grill, HOT TUB, three furnished outdoor living areas, satellite and roku tv, king bed in the master, and tasteful but comfortable decor and linens. We provide a pack n play, baby gate, oscillating fan, baby monitors, high chair, a basket of toys, firewood, tackle box, smores kit, hot dog roasters, a few chairs for the river, UTV (not included in rental price), two single kayaks, two paddle boards, (a canoe upon request), two adult large lifejackets and two small child lifejackets (15-30 lbs), 8 life preservers for canoeing (4 adult and 4 youth) and indoor/outdoor games. Please bring your own inflatables, fishing poles, and Bluetooth speaker to enjoy at the river. The cabin’s architecture is thoughtfully designed and includes a cozy reading nook and work station. The cabin is very kid friendly with an outdoor playground and a locking gate for the back deck. This is a RURAL area with bugs and wildlife. Cell-service is spotty for most carriers, calls are difficult but texts go through. Fiber internet is installed! Grub Hub, Uber Eats and Instacart all deliver to the cabin! Private hot tub and UTV use ( UTV rental, not included in rental price). The cabin sits on 25 acres that has James River frontage. Owners have over 95 acres total. Guests have access to approximately 65 acres during their stay. Owners are available 24-7 by email, phone, social media messaging. Owners sleep at 9 pm 😆 The property is secluded in the countryside on 25 riverfront acres with river access. The neighborhood is 10 minutes from Springfield, Missouri, but far enough away for a peaceful and secluded stay. The area has beautiful, scenic paved roads that are perfect for cyclists. The property has a combined 65 acres with trails perfect for hiking, arrowhead hunting, or riding the utv. Wildlife is numerous with frequent deer and bald eagle sightings. You can order in food from Grubhub and Uber Eats if you don’t feel like cooking! Wild blackberries also grow on the property surrounding the cabin in early July. Wild animal safari is a unique experience located in Strafford, MO, within 10 miles of the cabin. Buena Vista ranch (owned by Jerry Jones of the Dallas Cowboys) is just a two minute drive from the cabin, and you can see long horns and pet a very friendly zonkey! A 6 seater UTV is provided to drive to the river and ride the trails. Before checking in, all guests must accept all liability for risks associated with the UTV and all activities available on premises. No UTV drivers under 21 allowed. Please park only on the circle drive or river rock driveway. Cabin only comfortably sleeps six adults. An additional two small children could also sleep on the floor mattress or in the pack n play for a max total of 8 guests. The septic system cannot accommodate more than 6 adults and 2 small children during a stay. No pets or early/late check in requests please. We will notify you if early or late check in is available.
