Property is a 2 story structure. Access to 2nd story is only by stairs. The downstairs bedrooms and bath can be accessed from the back of the house with a small step but to get to 2nd story, one must use stairs. Other things to note Rip currents are a serious ocean hazard and can result in severe injury or death. Enter the ocean at your own risk and exercise extreme caution at all times. Swimming alone is strongly discouraged. Conditions can change rapidly, and the property owner does not monitor or control ocean conditions. Guests are responsible for their own safety and are encouraged to familiarize themselves with rip current risks, how to identify them, and appropriate safety responses. If caught in a rip current, do not attempt to swim directly against it; instead, remain calm and swim parallel to the shoreline until you are able to exit the current. Always follow local beach advisories and posted warnings. No parties, commercial filming, or events in or on the property. No more than 16 persons in or on the property, including children and infants. Only registered Guests are allowed overnight. Because our property is on the beach in Florida, you MAY see some WILDLIFE on the property, including palmettos (look like roaches, ew I know, but the price we pay for living on the beach), lizards, snakes (most common are black racer snakes that are not poisonous), raccoons, etc. Please wash off sand outside. Sand down the sinks, showers or toilets will cause expensive plumbing issues. Water spigots / hoses available on 3 sides of the house. Please do not wash sand down the sinks, showers, or toilets. Thank you!! In the event a tropical storm is upgraded to a HURRICANE and is given a name (ie DORIAN, IAN or NICOLE), guests will need to vacate property within 24 hours. If a MANDATORY EVACUATION is in place, on day of guests' arrival, guests will not be allowed to check in. We recommend guests take travel insurance to cover these scenarios. Guests will be charged and pay $250 or actual costs, whichever is greater, if guests leave property excessively dirty ie mud on carpet, or if upholstery require deep cleaning.
