Our home is centrally located in picturesque Eagle Harbor and perfect for any season. This extremely spacious 4 bedroom home is across the street from the sandy beach with swimming area, surrounded by gorgeous fall colors, two blocks from the Eagle Harbor Lighthouse (Northern Light viewing is phenomenal), direct access to snowmobile trails, amazing cross country ski trails, snowshoeing trails, and is only 20 minutes from Mount Bohemia! All the comforts of home in a quiet, peaceful setting. The space The space We recently purchased this home from a family who owned it for generations as their family vacation home. We are excited to share our new vacation home, and we're sure you will love the location, area, and home as much as we do when you are visiting the wonderful Keweenaw Peninsula. Guest access We have the entire home open for your use, including the heated garage. The public swimming beach is across the street and there is a public boat launch right in Eagle Harbor. The Eagle Harbor Inn is a mere two blocks away from the house, which is a well-known restaurant and bar. Other things to note There is so much to do in the area!! Enjoy the beach, parks, mountain bike trails, hiking, ATV trails, snow mobile trails, cross country skiing, down hill skiing/snowboarding, snow shoeing, National Parks, Historic lighthouses, Northern Lights, Antiquing, Berry Picking, Delaware Mine, Quincy Mine, Fort Wilkins, golfing, Ghost towns, waterfalls, Mt. Bohemia, Mt. Ripley, near Copper Harbor, Calumet and Houghton/Hancock. We understand your pets are like family. We allow one dog without prior approval by the host. Please contact the host prior to booking if you have any questions. Thank you! Other things to note There isn't a grocery store in Eagle Harbor. You will need to stop for groceries on your way to the house. I will also stock your fridge for you, with grocery list provided by you, so everything you need/want is there upon check-in for a small fee.
