Pappy's Place at Smoke Hole

This house was built in 1889 and still has much of the original charm. It has 3 bedrooms and one full bath upstairs. Two of the three bedrooms have television. The downstairs has a kitchen, living room, study, dining room, an enclosed front porch and a full bathroom with a shower. There is a nice size deck off the porch with a grill and seating. It is located one mile from the entrance to smoke hole, .3 of a mile from Swilled dog hard cider and lots of opportunity for hiking and biking. The space There is an additional ice maker in the laundry room. There is wifi and internet service at the house. There is cell service with certain providers and there is a land line phone. There are many local churches and activities and events. Many people rock climb and cave at Reeds Creek and area .1 mile from the house. This house has private river front property available for use if you stay with us. The river front property is approximately 8 miles from the house. The river was stock with trout in February. By the end of march there will be a fire pit, chairs and a portable bathroom at this property. You can launch tubes, kayaks or canoes from this property as well. There is parking available at the property. Other things to note you are right on route 220. it is an easy trip to smoke hole or to the caving on reeds creek. you can easily access Seneca Rocks, Dolly Sods, Spruce Knob, Blackwater Falls. There are so many hiking trails.
