Door Co Waterfront, Private Boat Launch!

If you’re looking for a great get away and you love the water, Sunset Lagoon is perfect! Use the paddle boat or kayaks (included), bring your boat to get out and enjoy the water. Or relax and fish right off the deck! On site private boat launch and docking in a sheltered lagoon connected to Riley’s Bay. When you get back from the beach or fishing, light a fire, roast Smore's or sit on the deck and relax. Put some burgers on the grill and grab a cold one. Enjoy the good life at Sunset Lagoon! The space Sunset Lagoon offers a serene atmosphere with modern cottage decor. Attention to detail makes it a place you'll never want to leave. As you pull up you will see the large driveway offering plenty of parking for vehicles and trailers. The enormous waterfront deck with patio furniture (available May through October) and a large propane grill (available year round), has enough space for everyone to gather for fishing, soaking up the sun, grilling, playing in the water or relaxing while you enjoy a cold one. As you go through the patio door facing the water you'll enter the bar with mini fridge, which is closed off to the rest of the cottage by another patio door. The main area of Sunset Lagoon is an open concept living room, dining room and fully stocked kitchen. A bunk room with 4 twin beds is off the living room, with 2 more bedrooms and a bathroom off the kitchen. The kitchen offers a stove / oven, microwave, pizza oven, crock pot, electric griddle, pots and pans, all the utensils you need and all linens. There is a fire extinguisher under the kitchen sink in case of emergency. Sunset Lagoon has air conditioning and WiFi is available for guests. Bathroom supplies are: hand and body towels, soap, and toilet paper. There’s also a first aid kit under the sink. Bedrooms have clean sheets, blankets, pillows and a comforter. The bar area has a mini fridge, recycling and waste bins and a blue tooth sound bar with subwoofer. There is also a cooler for guest use and blankets and towels for outdoor use located in the bar area. All the cushions for the patio furniture are also stored in the bar. The deck offers over 1000 square feet of space. Complete with patio furnature. A new floating dock and tie offs with bumpers for tying up the boat. There is a patio table, and 4 chairs so there’s plenty of room for everyone! There is also a picnic table on the deck. There are folding chairs in the deck box under the bar window for use by the fire pit. A portable folding plastic table is stored in the outside shed that is connected to the house. The on site boat launch is free and can accommodate boats up to about 21'. Sunset Lagoon is located in a sheltered area of Rileys Bay which means no waves..... EVER. The Lagoon is "no wake" and so sheltered that no matter the wind there are never waves. Launch your boat here and tie it up to the deck for your stay without the worry of it getting damaged or dock rash! Due to the unpredictable Wisconsin weather, the patio furniture, and kayaks are available for use from May through October. Important note: although we strive to have snow removed from the driveway as soon as possible, there are times because of the location that it may not happen for a few days after a storm, We recommend guests who stay in winter have a 4x4 or all wheel drive vehicle. Guest access All areas except the boat house and the room to the left of the TV in the living room. Other things to note There is not a washer and dryer at Sunset Lagoon. There is a gas grill with propane supplied. There’s also a fire pit which can be used year round. RV's and pets are not allowed. Upon booking you will receive a “hold harmless” agreement that needs to be signed in order to stay. Failure to sign will result in you having to cancel your booking.
