Near Andy Griffith's "Mayberry", Blue Ridge Parkway (4 miles away), Galax, VA - August Fiddler's Convention, New River Canoes, Bike & Hiking Trails, and Hillsville, VA Labor Day Flea Market, October Autumn Leaves Festival, many local vineyards. Banquet Barn available — check out Palomino Mtn Ranch Banquet Barn on Facebook for weddings, reunions, cook-outs, etc. The space Guest have access to gazebo, rocking chairs, trout stream (can catch and release—fishing poles provided) and screened in porch. Other things to note I am on the premises and will let each guest in upon check-in. Check-in 2pm, checkout 11am. Pets are allowed with a $50 non-refundable pet fee and must be under 30lbs. Pets must be crated when gone guests are not on site. 2 or more consecutive night stays are $150 per night. Minimum of 2 night stay is required. Fishing allowed if catch & release.
