Hidden Forest Retreat

Building a fire in the indoor fireplace-To build a fire in the indoor fireplace you can use materials located in the drawer under the stairs. The drawer is heavy and opens hard. Inside the drawer is paper and fire starter blocks. Make sure you open the chimney flue. Before starting, look up the chimney to ensure the flue is open. If it is not, the house will fill with smoke. Please do NOT start a fire inside when it's warm outside (above 60 Degrees). The air conditioning equipment is not designed to offset a fire in the fireplace. RestaurantsThere are a few restaurants that we love: -Oscars Bar and Grill, N7405 State Rd 80, New It's a bar but we wouldn't hesitate to take our kids here. -Buckhorn Bar and Grill- Serving breakfast lunch and dinner- Great steaks cooked on a charcoal grill. Neat atmosphere and full bar but kids are welcome as well. Nice outdoor firepit and volleyball courts. N8404 19th Ave, Necedah, The Opera House -They have great pizza, burgers and Saturday nights they have prime rib specials. 120 S Adams St, New Lisbon, Dirty Turtle -Probably the most well known bar and grill in the area- They are right on Castle Rock lake and have a play area for kids. They often have DJ's on weekend nights. This place gets a little crazy during the summer. The food is pretty good as well. W5250 N Osprey Dr, New Lisbon, WI 53950 Shipwreck -Another popular lake bar. N7265 Shacks Rd Mauston, Hot Tub Usage We invite you to relax and enjoy the hot tub. Secure the cover over the hot tub by snapping it down on the sides. Please do not add any type of soap or any other products to the water. We have it already balanced. Please do not open the filter cover as it has clamps that brake easily. There should be no reason to open it. Clean your feet before entering the hot tub to eliminate sand and dirt from entering the tub. There is a brown bucket you can fill with water (on the front side of the home is a hose) to rinse your feet with.
