Located in a quiet Kanab neighborhood, we're less than an hour away from Zion National Park, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, Lake Powell and a little further to Bryce Canyon National Park and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. At the end of the day, you'll love coming back to your own private hot tub to unwind and soothe away the miles of hiking you can do here. Our property manager is available to answer any of your questions or handle any issues. You're just blocks from the center of town and you can walk to shops, restaurants and our parks. You'll be able to hike directly from our home to many of the trails surrounding Kanab. There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab. Equestrian and biking trails are also available. This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places. Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away. Guests must sign a separate Hot Tub Use & Safety Agreement in order to use the hot tub.
