Our 3-level cabin, perched high and built into the mountainside, is beautifully constructed and just a few miles to Pigeon Forge/shopping/restaurants & numerous activities *NEWLY INSTALLED STARLINK The space **Please read the entire listing, including house rules, before booking to assure our home is a great match for your group's needs** Located just off the Pigeon Forge Parkway (about 10 minutes from the National Park and an easy 10-minute drive to Dollywood and The Parkway) the cabin is ideally located for any Smoky Mountain adventure. Remote enough that you'll feel like you've escaped to the heart of the Smokies yet close enough to allow for ease of exploring all our area has to experience. Many other cabins are cramped along roadsides with neighboring traffic right outside your door; the Lodge has only one cabin nearby--and it's moderately obscured by trees most of the year. When you look out from the deck or hot tub, you'll enjoy a beautiful, private open view of the woods and mountains in the distance. In the winter months the view opens up even more once the leaves have fallen and in the snow it is breathtaking. The Lodge sleeps 6 and offers a nice degree of privacy for everyone; the 2 King Suites feature custom woodwork, are each on their own level of the home, have private baths, access to a private deck with forest and mountain views as well as a flat screen TV with Dish Satellite or Firestick TV. The lower suite has access to the hot tub deck and the middle floor suite has a cozy porch swing with a view. A Keurig Coffee station with complementary pods just outside both bedrooms urges you to enjoy the sunrise with a cup of joe on the deck before joining the rest of the group. In the living room you will find vaulted ceilings, ample large windows bringing in plenty of natural light, comfy furnishings and charming southern décor. There's nothing quite like a fire in the cooler months at a cabin in the Smokies and the gas fireplace will warm even the coldest bones after a day of exploration. Watch your favorite sports or programs on the large flat screen with Firestick TV and Dish Network service. Challenge a friend to a match on the classic video game table or curl up with a book in one of the recliners. A sleeper sofa and half bath here will sleep two additional guests. *Please note, the gas fireplace is available from Oct. 1-March 31 due to local burn bans. The kitchen is compact but very well equipped with everything you need for preparing meals or a full-on BBQ, just grab some fixings on the way in and fire up the charcoal grill out front. We provide all the necessary kitchen appliances and cookware, just bring your chef's hat! The dining table seats 6 or dine out on one of the decks and enjoy the mountain air. We offer the brand new Starlink Wi-Fi & internet. Please note that while we strive to provide the best Wi-Fi service possible there is always the possibility of service interruptions due to weather, fallen trees etc. Laundry room is located on the lower floor with a full-size washer and dryer and is attached to one of the King Suite Bedrooms. The heat pump assures it is cozy in the winter and the wall unit A/C keeps it cool in the summer. A Pack and Play is available for families traveling with small children upon request but please note that our home is not baby proofed and there are multiple flights of stairs. Dogs are always welcome,(with pet fee) and we provide a large crate for if they must be left unattended. Great outdoor security lighting and a flat parking area for up to three vehicles assures your group has plenty of room upon arrival to unload and get comfortable. The road going up to the cabin is paved and in great condition but be advised it is narrow in spots, has sharp turns and a steady incline. Please take your time, especially in inclement weather. 4WD is highly recommended during the winter and inclement weather conditions. Guest access Guests have full, private access to the Cabin and there are no shared spaces or additional guests on the property. There are two locked owners' closets on the lowest level that we ask you not to enter; otherwise, spread out and enjoy! Other things to note The bedrooms are downstairs.
