Located only 5 miles from Mountain View, "Folk Music Capital of the World" Our cabin is close to town and also the Ozark National Forest. We are one mile from White River and two boat launches. We are close to many other outdoor activities such as: fishing, boating, hiking trails, horseback riding, shopping, antiques, music on the town square and several other locations, drive in theater (seasonal) and much more. Our cabin is nesseled on top of a mountain ridge! It has everything you need for your stay! It is close to shopping, restaurants, music, activities, mountain excursions and the White River. But, the privacy and just being away from it all, could be all you need for a great experience! Pet friendly! Our guest may access any areas close to the cabin. We have a basketball goal, a fire pit, and Cornhole Boards with bags. The entire cabin is accessable, and you can walk the road if you like. Pretty good incline! Enjoy! Our guests privacy is important to us. We enjoy meeting our guest when we can. We will usually only stop to speak with our guest as we drive down the driveway. We are available to share information about the area and things to do. We also like to make sure everything about the cabin meets our guests expectations. Always feel free to call or text us with any concerns or any needs of information. We are at the end of the driveway. This area of Arkansas is an absolutely Beautiful part of the Ozarks. The vastness of the mountains is unmeasurable. This is a Christian based community, hanging on to basic morals and values as a whole. The entire area is almost like going back in time. The community is very tight knit but welcomes anyone to enjoy what they love. The entire environment of the community is very laid back as a whole. The peacefulness surrounding this community is contagious! Careful, you may catch it! The best way to get around the town is a car, SUV, or truck. If you want to ride through the Ozark National forest to look for wildlife, old deserted cabins, streams or rock formations and bluffs you may want to bring your truck or SUV. Although, the gravel park roads are usually very well maintained. We took our Toyota Avalon and never had any issues. Mountain bike trails are scattered all around our cabin. These trails can also be used for hiking. Hiking Trails is another way to get the most of the mountains. There are all types of skill level trails. The National forest trails are scattered all around our cabin! Another way of transportation is horseback. You can bring your own horses and enjoy National Forest Horseback trails or there is a horseback riding stable nearby. Lastly, boating is huge! The White River has many boat launches near by. Two are within a mile. You would need to bring a shallow running boat and take it easy. The river is unpredictable. For other larger boats you can take a day trip to Bull Shoals one hour plus away, Greer's Ferry Lake, one hour away or Lake Norfork, one hour away. For relaxation and unbelievable views rafting, canoeing, or kayaking is the best. To have a great stay, I have found there are many options based on your expectations. Just kick back and relax in the cabin, on the front porch or on the back deck. You may cook inside, outside, or go to a nice restaurant. You can enjoy an evening fire. You can watch Netflix or read a book and enjoy the cabins peacefulness, privacy, and serenity. Or you can get out and explore the many options within the town or mountains.
