Creek Lodge is located just 1.5 miles from downtown LaGrange and sits on a private wooded lot that gives you the feel and privacy of the country. Within a five mile radius is our local Walmart, Sweetland Amphitheater, Delevant' Event Center, LaGrange College and several boat ramp access points to West Point Lake/Yellow Jacket Creek. Parties and Events are not allowed. The space Creek Lodge sits on a gated 18 acres of secluded wooded area that is truly a hidden gem located near downtown LaGrange. The home includes handmade farmhouse furniture with two private decks and a front and back patio that overlooks a private lake. A queen bed and two queen bunk beds make up a private hideaway suite that includes a separate kitchenette with it's own bathroom and stand up shower. Cable, RoKu and WiFi available. Driveway is a 900 foot long graveled road. Outdoor living is a must here with the under deck covered patio with string lighting surrounding it that makes for a great relaxed atmosphere. Downstairs of home has recently been transformed into an opened finished area with TV and table/chairs. Creek Lodge is in close distance to many wedding venues, such as Delevant, The Barn at Big Oak, Oakhurst, Riverbend Winery and Nutwood Planation. We frequently host families that are in town for weddings and want to stay together in a homey environment. Newer additions include a beautiful 900 sq. ft. deck nestled in the woods overlooking the private lake and a fire pit that sits by the lake with 10-12 handmade chairs for a great gathering area. Adults and kids alike can enjoy corn hole, giant connect four and jenga while grilling out on the commercial charcoal grill/smoker. The private lake comes with catfish and guests are welcome to catch/release fish, though you will want to bring your own poles. CreekLodge offers a unique experience of relaxed country oasis, but is just minutes from downtown LaGrange. Guest access Guests will be able to walk the property, around the lake and use the open grassy area. Guests will have access to all living spaces in the home and outdoor patio/gathering areas. Other things to note We don't allow any smoking inside the home. We ask that smokers do so outside, but discard butts in a designated container and not on the grounds of the property.
