The space The floor plan is set up perfectly for multiple families with 4 bedrooms on the main floor and a loft with 7 single beds above the ground floor. The stamped concrete floors are such a beautiful feature that keeps the cabin cool during the warm Idaho summers. The cozy fireplace and heaters in each area of the cabin help everyone stay as warm and toasty as they like during the cold winter months. The cabin is located only 22 miles from West Yellowstone, gateway to Yellowstone National Park and 75 miles from Grand Teton National Park, on the desirable Bill's Island gated community. The proximity to Yellowstone along with the extraordinary hunting, fishing, water sports and hundreds of miles of ATV trails make Island Park a perfect summer vacation spot. During the winter, we receive an average snowfall of 9 feet which results in beautiful scenery and the perfect area for enjoying miles of groomed snowmobile trails and acres and acres of open meadows to play in. Downhill skiing and snowboarding at Grand Targhee or Big Sky is not far away or take advantage of the snow coach ride in Yellowstone Park. Cross country skiing, snowshoeing and ice fishing are other popular winter activities that will make days end at the cabin in front of the fireplace oh so inviting. Fully appointed with high end appliances, furnishings, appliances and necessities, the lodge has everything you need to just show up and enjoy. Being nestled into the Bills Island community provides the sought after mix of relaxing natural surroundings with the ability to find new friends at either of the two Lodges nearby. Bring your toys! Lots of nearby trails and access offers great opportunities for riders of all levels and you can ride straight from the cabin. You'll love the opportunity to relax, unwind, and spend some Lazy Daze at the Lodge. Other things to note Common questions: There is a propane BBQ grill on the back porch. The coffee maker is a standard drip machine - not single serve. For fire safety, please be sure to check the burn safety sign as you enter the island. The driveway is not suited for large/long RVs. Please be BEAR AWARE! Do not leave any bear attractants (food, drinks, etc) outdoors as it WILL attract wildlife. We ask that our guests become familiar with bear safety and food storage before they come to the area.
