Description

The ultimate La Quinta PGA west vacation home. This private pool home is right on the course and faces west overlooking pristine San Jacinto Mountain range for some of the best sunset views you will ever see. Pool heater and AC new in 2022. 6 adults MAX (plus up to 2 additional kids no more than 8 total guests including children), no noise outside after 10pm. The minimum age for responsible renter is 26. 3 cars MAX. The space The master bedrooms has a king sized bed, a large over-sized tub, and walk in shower and doors that lead directly to the pool and spa. A second bedroom includes an in suite bath and walk in closet. The third bedroom has an in suite bath and includes two bunk beds with large full sized beds on the bottom, and twin beds on the top, this room can comfortably sleep 4-6 children. Take a walk to Wallaby's- Take in panoramic desert vistas and soak up the spirit of Australia in the Greg Norman Clubhouse at PGA WEST. Enjoy fresh salads, sandwiches and light fare in the relaxed dining room – or out on the patio with the fire pit. MAX 8 guests. No exceptions. Any visitors must be approved in writing and must leave by 930PM, no exceptions. If there are more than 8 guests without express written permission the min find is automatically $1000, if there are more than 14 the fine is automatically a minimum of $2,000 and you will be made to leave, no refund. Max of 3 cars. You must provide the name of 3 drivers designated to 3 cars. Include make, model, and license plate of each of the 3 vehicles. No trailers, no oversized vans ie Sprinter vans or similar models are not allowed At this time due to temporary COVID 19 rules absolutely no outside music. We encourage guests to be conscious of energy use but have a good time! Please turn the spa and pool heater off when not in use and save energy. Despite the reviews that refer to a game room, there is no game room, there are two arcade machines in the home, an air hockey table in the golf cart area, and a shuffleboard. Absolutely no smoking. Smoking fines start at $500 If you smoke fine is $500, if smoking bothers other guests you will be responsible for any compensation to other guests. Other things to note The minimum age for responsible renter is 30. The pool heat is on-demand, meaning we do not heat it when it's not in use or when no guests are staying. It heats up about 3 degrees per hour and it can get down into the 60's during the winter so if you want it heated upon your arrival please keep that in mind and notify us. October Through the end of May the charge is $100/day if pool heating is paid upfront for every day of the stay or $125/day if not. Spa only heating is $40/day if prepaid for the entire stay and $70/day if not. Most resorts heat pools into the low 80's we allow guests that pay for pool heat to heat pool to the mid-80's and spas as high as they like. Please keep in mind, mid-winter, larger pools will have a hard time even reaching mid-80's, pool temperature is not guaranteed, however, generally low to mid 80's is common, even mid-winter. Executive Order 9 - Order Governing Use and Occupation of Short Term Vacation Rental Units for the City of La Quinta As a result of heightened complaints to the city regarding short term rentals, the city has passed a temporary rule change eliminating outside music. No outside amplified music is allowed at this time, this also means that music inside cannot be loud enough to be heard outside. I'm very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We are all making sacrifices as a result of COVID-19. Many cities have residents that have shut down the ability to rent a home all together, not because of COVID-19 but because they don't like sharing their neighborhoods. We are proud to own in PGA West and the city of La Quinta, an area that to date has been short term rental friendly. Let's keep it that way! Please read the full order below. Order Governing Use and Occupation of Short Term Vacation Rental Units As a result of increased Short Term Vacation Rental complaints and violations during COVID-19 and in an effort to retain the quality of life for La Quinta residents, Executive Order #9 (dated July 15, 2020) which the Mayor and City Council of La Quinta have authorized the distribution of information and updates relating to the COVID-19 proclaimed local emergency through the City Manager is linked below. EXECUTIVE ORDER 9 You can read the entire ordinance my searching the internet for Executive Order 9 short term rentals La Quinta The executive order is as follows during COVID-19: • 2 violations = suspension of STVR license • Immediate 90-day suspension for non-responsive owner/host • STVR rules apply regardless if unit is rented (applicable to owner or guest of owner) • Fines will be double • No sound amplification permitted outside • Noise limits • Suspensions to take place after current occupant vacates premise unless egregious offense in which suspension will be immediate – (simple administrative appeal process) ** *To be clear, HOA fines typically start at $750, plus take us hours to deal with so the min fine will be $1,000, with this order if you have outside music the city will also fine so the fines will start above $1,000, plus if an owner loses their permit that costs many times that amount so any outside music fines will likely be above $2,000, don't play music outside. * I have 4 kids, we love PGA West and the desert, playing the pool is fine. Pets are subject to owner approval and may or may not be approved. If they are approved a pet fee applies. Please inquire with breed, age, and weight of your pet prior to booking. No Cats Allowed. The desert has extreme temperatures, including sustained daytime temperatures of over 100 degrees. With such high temperatures, ACs can struggle to cool homes by more than 25 degrees. Boatman bugs are common in pools with biologically safe water. If food is left out, ants will come, and if doors are left open, flies will come. These are a part of life in the desert and not grounds for a refund. We use the top pest control, pool cleaners, and home cleaners in the area. Please contact us if you have an issue, and we will do our best to assist. When it's windy, a perfectly clean pool will not remain perfectly clean for long Cancellation policy and procedures Our goal is to keep our prices as competitive as possible, in order to keep them competitive it's important that we avoid the losses that come from cancellations. Owners of these properties depend on the income and last-minute cancellations result in lost revenue through vacancy and lower prices. For those that don't like the risk that comes with cancellation policies, we strongly recommend you look into travel insurance. We can recommend one for you. If you didn't purchase the travel insurance offered by the booking channel, or the one we recommend, you will likely not get any refund. To ask for an exception to our policy you must first cancel through the booking channel. Exceptions are up to individual owners and are very rare. Your best chance is to ask for a credit to be used for a booking for the same property. The credit can to be used within the window you cancelled. Ie. If you cancel 3 days before your stay and the owners payout is $4500, you didn't purchase travel insurance you may ask for a credit to be used to reserve the same property no more than 3 days before the drag you want to use the credit for. Example request. "I had to cancel because my kids are sick. I didn't purchase the recommended travel insurance. My stay is 3 days away. I'm requesting a credit for the owner payout amount to be used to reserve the same property 3 days before our stay. I.e, we want to stay August 23rd so I will make a request on August 20th if the unit is still available. Thanks." We will share this with the owner and encourage them to allow us to agree. No exceptions will be made if the process is not followed. Sincerely, Everyday Luxury Inc.
