It’s a short walk over to Humboldt State University, where you can catch the latest shows at the Van Duzer Theatre, everything from Merle Haggard and Joan Baez to Steel Pulse. There are numerous delectable restaurants within easy walking distance, and a coffee shop and several cafes around the corner. Every Saturday during the season there is a large Farmer’s Market on the Plaza featuring live music and fresh local food. After a long day of exploring beautiful Humboldt County, come home to a comfortable queen size bed or relax and enjoy the view from the cozy furniture in the living room.
