NEAR YOSEMITE: Bass Lake Cabin: Hot Tub, Lake View, Pet Friendly

Description

It's beautiful, peaceful, green and uncrowded spring at the lake. Yosemite's waterfalls are amazing! And summer is just around the bend. Book now! Stay outside Yosemite Park (cheaper!) and relax in our hot tub under the stars at night. 2 bedroom, cozy, rustic cabin has a wood stove and is secluded on a hillside with a view of beautiful Bass Lake. "We had such a wonderful time at your cabin. It was such a wonderful change from a boring hotel room" (Todd B.- recent guest) The space We are just a short drive (20 minutes) from the southern entrance to Yosemite. During the summer, Bass Lake has fun beaches, boating and waterplay and is just a 10 minute walk from our cabin. Our wonderful hot tub on the deck is great for star-gazing after a long day of hiking in Yosemite! We are child-friendly! We have a pak'n'play, a high chair, baby toys, children's books and games, water toys, outdoor games, indoor children's games and a basketball hoop on the outside patio. Before you book our cabin: Please note that this is an older family cabin. This is just what many guests are looking for. However, if you are looking for a more modern cabin set up exclusively for short-term rentals, this is probably not the place for you. The furnishings are comfortable and the cabin is well-stocked. The photos are fairly accurate. Guest access The cabin is completely furnished with a stocked kitchen, gas BBQ, washer & dryer, linens, and some baby gear! (pak'n'play, toys, high chair) We are also pet-friendly, on a case-by-case basis. Other things to note Our cabin is cozy and comfortable and clean. Visitors from many countries have enjoyed staying here. Honeymooners too! (ask about our honeymooners discount). new: "Firm" cancellation policy (changed from "strict"). See details. Offers greater cancellation flexibility closer to your stay. We can be your "virtual office" as you work remotely. We have at least 2 separate work areas and fast wifi for your Zoom calls and streaming needs. I follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. * Kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, towels, etc. and some spices and cooking basics. There is no dishwasher. ***Although we are pet friendly, we must approve each request to bring a pet as well as charge a pet fee (from $65-$85). This will need to be paid separately from the airbnb booking charge and will be arranged with the hosts. ****Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. at the latest. It's crucial to allow our cleaner time to prepare and sanitize the cabin for the next guests. The house is primarily heated by an efficient wood stove in the living room. The fire will be all ready for you to light a match to once you arrive. It heats the house up fairly quickly, usually within 30 minutes. We provide plenty of firewood on the rack outside the back door (and in the shed beyond the lawn). You can set the fire on “low” by moving the lever at the bottom of the stove to the right. This allows less air in, and it will burn slowly. Pile it up with wood during the night, set it on low, and it should stay warm all night long. The wood stove is a desirable feature for most guests **HOWEVER, If you don't want to deal with a wood stove, this cabin may not be your best option. This is a family-owned vacation cabin, with the goal of being comfortable and cozy but not fussy, not modern. Take a good look at the photos; what you see is what you get. We are child-friendly! We have a pak'n'play, a high chair, baby toys, children's books and games, water toys, outdoor games, indoor children's games and a basketball hoop on the outside patio.
