This spacious log home (1500 sq ft) has all the comforts of home plus just what you expect in a homey cabin retreat( ground floor closed) It sits in the woods by the Green River in a beautiful gated community. The location is remote but activities close by including Tryon International Equestrian Center, rafting, tubing, hiking, waterfalls, fishing, golf, equestrian. There are many charming villages in the area that are fun to explore. The space Our cabin has a relaxed welcoming vibe. It is perfect for a family gathering or can easily be shared by 2 couples. There are 2 bedrooms with attached full bath and a sleeping loft.The living room has been updated with all new furniture. Kids love the sleeping loft, listed as 3rd bedroom. A favorite feature is the large working fireplace. Enjoy fishing right out back and roast marshmallows at the fire pit by the river. New- high speed internet has finally reached Green River Highlands! Guest access You will have full use of the main floor of the house- check in 3:00 pm- check out 11:00 am- ground floor was flood damaged and is being restored Other things to note Please come prepared for a “ lived in” country cabin experience, not a luxury hotel. This area has chiggers, snakes and spiders. Wear long pants, socks and shoes or boots when hiking. The cabin is over 20 years old but I try to keep it in good repair. Hurricane Helene wiped out the ground floor. It is off limits now. Please let me know if something needs attention. Photos accurately show the spaces.
