Feels like a waterfront and yet far enough from the lake that the motor boating noise does not bother you. The house is ideal for spending a lot of quality time together with family and friends, and yet allows for alone-time if that is what you are looking for. The dining room opens to the back deck, which overlooks the 8-mile long Beltzville Lake. There are hiking trails all around the lake, and it's only a few minutes walking to the lake right from the house. The Beltzville State Park and swimming beach area are just two miles from the house. There are picnic areas, swimming areas, and boat rentals available during the summer months. In the winter, Blue Mountain Ski Area is just 8 miles from the house, and Big Boulder and Camelback are just a bit further. The scenic, historic town of Jim Thorpe is just 11 miles from the house, with an abundance of restaurants, art galleries, and museums. For the nature enthusiast, there are biking trails, white water rafting, kayaking, and paint ball all within 15 minutes from the house. Pocono Raceway is only 20 miles away.
