Clam digging and surf fishing is allowed with a fishing license from the nearby bait and tackle store. Day long fishing trips to the Santa Cruz and Anacapa Islands are also available. One of the best parts of Silver Strand Beach is that it is not crowded like you will find at neighboring beaches. It is very serene and peaceful. Full beach access is just five houses away a mere 1 minute walk to the sand. The Channel Islands Harbor, which is also walking/biking distance, offers rentals for kayaks, paddle boards, jet skis, boats, and specialty bikes as well as restaurants and entertainment.
